Honestly, I think Jennifer should've won this. Brandy's a great dancer, but Jennifer moved around most of the time - Brandy was carried at times.

Are they doing a marathon this season? If they don't, I'll be disappointed...

@CarrieUnderwdfan I kind of disagree there. Jeniffer stood there at least twice while Derek did flips and stuff to give her a break, much like how Brandy got a bit of rest by being carried.

I though Jennifer and Derek should of won First on this round. All Brandy and Maks did were just doing flips and flying their feet around the air. Jen and Derek were actually dancing.

wow just reading all these comments I never knew THAT many people were as into the show as I am! I mean I knew it got high ratings but I feel like i'm the only one I know that loves this show so much. Maybe it's because I'm in college so all my friends are young and this is more of an older show.

You know, I have to say that Brandy has grown alot in this competition but for this performance, all she and Maks did were lifts. I know that lifts were aloud but there really was no dancing between the two. Jennifer on the other hand could not do any lifts because of her neck injury, so she and Derek were constantly dancing throughout the entire thing. In my opinion Jennifer and Derek should have won, considering this is a 'dance' competition.

@MeredithBioMom Brandy and Maks may have many lifts (5) but there was definitely dancing between the two such as 4:05 - 4:13, 4:51 - 5:01 and other odd places. To say there was no dancing shows selective vision on your part. And to be fair, there were no real winners, everyone was fatigued and sloppy. No one really shined during the marathon.

hahaha why is it whenever jennifer grey leaves the stage or is finished dancing, jamie lee curtis is always there? I love jennifer, shes inspirational. Shes 50, had cancer, and is doing dancing with the stars..thats extremely hard. Derek is young and in shape so hes gonna struggle a bit with her keeping up with him but hes one of the best teachers/choreographers so i think they should win. I love both of them. No one can beat baby!

You can't even see all of the dances how can anyone say that either did nothing. Its very obvious both were dancing right up into the end and Derek did one flip throughout the entire routine and dance with Jen the whole rest of the time and while Derek was flip Jen was still dancing by herself in the corner. PAY ATTENTION!

1st , ALL the other couples got more rest than Brandy & Maksim, so they were at an IMMEDIATE disadvantage stamina-wize, having JUST finished an exhausting TANGO! 2nd, jen looked so pooped,& you can see Derek trying to cover for her by doing dumb FLIPS, which almost landed him CRASHING into Brandy & Maksim!...and what was jennifer doing during this time?..NOTHING! Simply clapping her hands & shuffling her feet! Brandy & Maksim had a ROUTINE w/great FOOTWORK & lifts! GO BranDMC!! You're GREAT!!

Brandy and Maks won because their routine had the most choreography, it wasn't simply the pro dancer doing all the work while the star kind of just stands their and wiggles something. Derek and Jenifer weren't really connected, Derek was doing the back flips but what was Jenifer doing? Also Brandy and Maks had JUST preformed yet didn't show signs of being tired like some of the other couples. It's not about one person doing pretty ticks, while the other shimmies around, it's a team effort.

At the start of this season, the producers made it seem as if Maks & Brandy hate one another and made her look like a huge jerk ~ when it just wasn't that way... both of them said so. Maks even had to talk to the producers because their editing was effecting the opinions of the judges and viewers! (read his blog)
