@LA6616 that's a bit racist and stereotypical, not all of us mexicans are like that, some of us are very hard working, all we want is to support our families,i was born in Dallas tx,i lived in Mexico for 2 years from ages 8-10,then returned to Dallas, all i want is for my family to have what i didn't growing up,i want for my family exactly what you want for yours, success,so please don't go making stupid comments like that, some mexicans are the nicest most loyal people you will meet...
a friend in high school brought me lunch every day for 2 years. his mom made a double lunch for me and i really needed it. i never met this woman or thanked her in person, i am going to look my friend up on facebook right now.
very sad I usually hate cops but it shows they are only human and protecting the community is their job. Its sad to see how kind it was to buy some random kid cookies for no reason just cause it was nice. Sad RIP
It is heartbreaking. I live across the pond and yet can still relate to the loss of this great guy. I feel the same as anyone around the world who would feel the same way as I do. My heartfelt condolences go to his family from the UK. Our servicemen and women serve alongside each other and we grieve together. What great guy. Words just arent enough to say how I feel for this family. I hope that little boy remembers the act of kindness and goes on to live a good life this kind man lost.
Well I stopped at a Walgreens on my way home from work on Christmas day just to buy some pain medicine and ended up helping a lady jumpstart her car in the parking lot. Also, she tried to pay me for helping her and I told her to give it to her kids for Christmas. That was my good deed for 2011.
this other time i got pulled over and they cought me with open container and some weed all them pigs were beign dickheads except him! also when the pops came out raiding partys with them cows! for those of you who stay up in the heights know what im talkin bout, i always seen him he already knew wasup with me! he didnt even have to check my i.d he knew who i was! lol hes arrested me before.... but aint even tripin cuz we all know he up in heaven.
Dang thats a trip... rest in paradise he was a good person I had alot of encounters with him, out of all of them popos he was kool He puled me over once cuz my high beems were on he was like "you were blindin me" shiet i was like you doin the same with your light (the ones they got on da sides) he said yeah it bothers you right, yeah it does he said dont be driving with them on and have a good night
This is so sad, i hope that kid Davion becomes a great role-model as well; someone who works hard, is humble, and competes fairly. I hope people commemorate him once more (hopefully through Davion's interview as an NBA star).
I had a customer come in today.I asked the typical,"How are you today?" and she replied with a frown,"Not having a good day." I didn't want to pry into her personal business so I told her about a friend who was having a rough time too,and that most of the things we are terrified of have already happened to us and that whatever was going on will eventually pass. Then I gave her a hug and told her she was beautiful and to have courage.R.I.P Jeremy Henwood. You died with honor <3
(Cont.) We were already going to her house to pick her up to go to the movies, so we acted as though we discovered the bag on her doorstep. She figured it was us, but we never told her it was. Turns out her mom had no idea how she was getting to work the next day; her gas tank was empty and she had no money. They also hadn't been eating much at all. It felt so good to know that my dad and I helped someone who really needed it. I thank God for officers like Jeremy Henwood, who honor humanity.
@MrmnGrl That warms my heart to know that the youth, such as yourself, will be the future missionaries and leaders in the church. Hold strong to the iron rod sister, and stay faithful. Sincerely, one of your brothers.
@MrmnGrl do you live in a small town in America? Cus that's where most of the kindness seems to happen - everyday stuff that a lot of people don't get to hear about, like what you and your dad did.
I noticed one day that a friend of mine at school was eating Pop-Tarts for lunch every day for a week. I asked her why she wasn't eating normal food, and she said, "My mom and I are having a bit of a problem with money, but it's no big deal." I thought no one should have to eat such a small and un-nourishing meal every day. So I went home and gathered groceries. My dad saw what I was doing and put $40 in the bag. We went to her house, put the bag on her doorstep and rung the doorbell. More...
