Wish she had just stayed this way - very thin, rather than continue to starve herself until she became skeletal and her organs couldn't take it anymore. So sad that she could have been helped and lived, if her illness wasn't such a mystery at the time, no one had really heard of anorexia yet. KC is still a loss to music, but I'm glad she and Richard created such great songs to listen to within the span of her life.
karen was great and so was her brother richard,highly under-rated by most of the numbnuts of todays music probably because of the image they had of bubble-gum and popcorn songs but listen to the stuff they did together there is no comparison and I am usually into hard rock,their songs make me feel humble.
I would say that it's her looks, not her voice that seems tired. It is certainly tragic but nothing compared to how she looked in the years after her marriage and just prior to her death. I refuse to pull up those clips.

Man, I wish Richard had put out a whole album with just him on the piano and her singing in a cozy small room. It would have been their best album by far.

Is it just me...but you can see the bones in her back, her hair looks all dried out and awful, and her voice seems "tired."
I just don't know how this young, vibrant, woman, only 28 here, destroyed herself. It's beyond tragic to me.

The song they were singing was "Daddys Home" dont know the artist though. The other song was "Oh Donna" by Richie Vahlens. Hope that kinda helps:) :)
