(the age of consent in Alabama is 14). but consent laws are actually meant to protect the child's innocence, because consent really isnt an issue with the court when it comes to kids. It's simply if you penetrated or not. But you can be found innocent is you can prove the kid is a whore, cause if the kid doesn't have innocence left to protect, no "rape" occured in a "concented" act.

Back then it was thought to be the women's fault.
