The first 3000 class was 3103-3104, then it was 3136-3135, 3106-3105, 3001-3139-3140, then the jumbos were 2103-2003-2104, and 2115-2012-2118. Then at Tablein it was 3106-3105 and i'm not sure of the train departing in the first clip Tablein.
@DeeJayMiikkii There are only 2 transcontinental trains in australia. The Ghan, travels from adelaide to Darwin via Alice springs ( north to south) and the Indian pacific travels from Perth to Sydney via Adelaide (east to west). I worked on both for 4 years.
A really top video but that is what we have come to expect from J.B.
Amazing that both the "Ghan" and "I.P" had locomotives in appropriate livery...very lucky on that score.
Video never stagnates which is a common problem with some and the action never stops..a J.B. trademark as i recall.
The low-rider wagons for the double stack operation were fabricated at Islington Railways Workshops and i actually purchased the special couplers from Bradford Kendall..i think.

If you want good footage of goods/passenger trains head further north to Port Augusta. Get about 6 to 12 trains a day.
