Graffiti isn't just spraypaint. This has been going on since the cavemen first walked this earth, and is done for numerous different reasons depending on the person. Some do it to express themselves, others for "politicial" reasons (lookup Banksy) but whatever the case trying to stop this is as pointless as the war on drugs, its best for any Gov't to give up now and save their money, THIS WILL NEVER GO AWAY!
Ok kingspek that sounds like a reasonable answer. And I have just looked up on banksy. I recognise this art and find it very amusing, full with humor and it is nice to look at. This I would call "streetart". It looks like he is putting some real time and effort to make his work.

Also, it's not always illegal, there are public areas to tag and spray or whatever in a lot of the big (and not so big) cities. Just because it doesn't have any discernable meaning to you, doesn't make it any less beautiful. Someone took time, effort, and quiet possibly their health (those fumes aren't good for you, and bandana's dont really filter them out) to make something like that for everyone to see.

Yeah i have been wrietin for a few months and i paint every chance i get on a wall or whatever but if u just startin one thing to rember paintin on a wall is nothin like writein in your black book so dont get discouraged if your shit looks good on paper but shitty on walls. pratice makes perfect, start simple

i recently started to graffiti and every time i try to do it the paint drips...how do i fix that? do i need a new cap? or different paint or sumthin? (im usein krylon paint wit the standard cap it comes with)...PLZ HELP!

I'm with Casper, I've recently started doodling in a black book. Its my first book, I don't think its that bad for a total newbie, cos I've been doodling things other than tags for years. But when i see this video its daunting to think that there are people out there THAT damned good.

Loomit,Daim, Ces and T-kid have beenholding shit down for years. those of you who say they are "fake" know nothing about the graffiti movement.
