@SayuriKurata exactly, they can communicate up to their battallion and other close elements with these. they also have "prrs" in the helmet to communicate with one another on the ground when the rounds start flying, but they use the closed frequency for air elements to corrospond with pilots, their commanders, etc.

When we do happen to kill a civilian it is commonly from mortar fire and it is mostly when the Taliban uses their house for cover and endangers them until we take down the house.

@SayuriKurata exactly, they can communicate up to their battallion and other close elements with these. they also have "prrs" in the helmet to communicate with one another on the ground when the rounds start flying, but they use the closed frequency for air elements to corrospond with pilots, their commanders, etc.

Why isn't this on the news more often? Most of what the US Troops do isn't even combat - we help out the local people and drop off food and medical supplies. We don't kill civvies on purpose...stupid hippies need to realize this

The reason the regular Iraqi people don't like us is because since we've been there, their country is in worse condition than under Saddam's rule. We bomb civilian towns. We made a whole bunch of water treatment plants that are infecting people with a long list of pathogens, their electricity barely works now.
The majority of these people don't become Taliban. They're a tiny radical group.

We (the west) tend to interfere in all the countries where we could benefit (oil etc.) although we have no right to do so.
