I think parents should really watch this movie to know why they should not let any child live in a different state,city,country from them and below the age of 18 is not a good plan to have you child out. I think parents should really watch this movie to know why they should not let any child live in a different state,city,country from them and below the age of 18 is not a good plan to have you child out. I just felt really bad watching it i felt so much tears coming out of my eyes.Is this real?i love her father the way he was trying to haunt down the guy that stole his daughter.Even the ending made me cry when his daughter was dead :( I hate the guy that kidnapped her,I just want him to die~!!!!

Completley amazing movie. I watched it last night for Social Justice club and it completley took my breath away. The love that man had his daughter (I am aware it was a Hollywood movie) was just impeckable. Completley, completley, breath taking.

the movie isn't based on this type of stuff. The facts of the movie was based on a man who was looking for his kidnapped daughter. However, he wasn't a former james bond spy. Also in real life he never found his daughter.

Martial arts can be a great form of self-defense, but unless you take it to the level of ninja grandmaster or some shit like that, it wo'nt help you in armed combat.
besides, 'realistically', learning how to effectively operate a firearm requires MUSH less time than to master any given martial art, and frankly is more effective in defense anyways.
not saying learning martial arts is a bad thing, but there's nothing wrong with owning a gun either.

Europe is VERY dangerous, so play it safe and stay between the Atlantic and the Pacific, north of Mexico! We might drop in from time to time to do some cheap shopping, but worry not. the biggest routes are the Balkans, Eastern Europe and Italy.

"Taken" is about a daughter being kidnapped and her Father who is a living nightmare for the abductees. I have seen this movie six times. I also counted 48 people Liam takes out in the movie. Wow. I will probably watch this movie for the rest of my life and show it to my children's children. Whenever that happens. lol

You would not believe my oldest daughter asked me to do almost this same exact thing cause her friends were going over seas. I stepped foot in all 7 continents, and 59 countries. Thier living conditions are sickening, but most countries do not carry Social Security, or Unemployment Benefits. IT CUD SAVE UR LIFE! and if anything avoid africa, asia, most parts of europe, and most parts of sout america. austrailia is fine if u pay attention, japan was okay, and untied kingdowm was okay, but stay away from everywhere else unless u want potential trouble.
