Man, I can't even express the feelings I felt when Doyle decided to get out and push the car. I'm not going to lie, the first thing I thought when he was burned was, 'Gah'dammit... the hot guy is gone. I should turn this movie off.' I was angry that Doyle had to die by burning to death, but at the same time I thought it was heroic. Y'know? He could have been like 'lolfuhh this' then left. But no. He got out and pushed to save the kids. Rock.

The sequel to 28 Days Later they were going to make was origianlly going to be 29 Days Later, with the idea of S.A.S. Soldiers sent into London to retrieve either the Prime Minister or the Queen, but they dropped it and made 28 Weeks Later instead. It's on IMDB.

No, in 28 Weeks Later, the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne was in charge of everything, they're not special forces. The only special forces in the film was the Snipers on the rooftops, they're part of Delta Force.

@klobasa29 he could have shot the guy with the flamethrower but then got shot to bits by the 3 other dudes... plus the visibility in the gas was very poor, if he stayed in the car trying to shoot them, he would have to open a window or something.. but that would let the gas into the car... So getting out and giving the car a push-start while the soldiers couldn't see him that well was the best way to go
