Royal Purple used to have a policy that they would not sell to national chains. They wanted the "Mom and Pop" stores to be able to make money and compete with the "Pep Boys" of the industry. Would have been nice if the Distributors were made aware of the changes. Maybe then they wouldn't have lost their sales volumes to Napa, Wal Mart, Pep Boys, and the like.
