@mbshus Your rituals from the secret didn't make a difference. The case simply got closed finally which always takes a hell of a lot of time. I tried it myself. That money was always yours. In the secret they claim that if you do their rituals money just come to you. Someone need to be the sender. You had a case and a sender. People say "OMG I got tax back" yes of course you did if you calculated it wrong. "OMG I lost weight" yes you started running consistently. Its their own actions.
@mbshus The thing is that they exaggerate in the movie. The secret is about law of attraction which can be said in one line as being "what comes around goes around". If you are lazy you will get the lazy mans results. If you focus on all your bills then you will forget to focus on opportunities to make money. If you focus on negativity you don't see the good. They forgot to tell you that you have to take actions in the movie. Nothing comes to you without effort. Action steps is effort.
@mbshus I am sure that if you are true to yourself you will see that you just started to make another strategy and finally found someone that could do the job. I tried a 100 day challenge. I had no job but got a job. Did the secret help? No, I send more than 50 job applications and finally got a job. I saw many bills and only my monthly check from the government. I did everything in the secret. It took me one month to just prepare for the challenge. I did nothing wrong. No random checks came.

I created these couple of things in my mind in February that I am going to make them happen. As I was going through a very rough time, they helped me to pull through. Infact I could see them happen in my mind. They became very strong, but come November when everything is dead in Vancouver, nothing seems to make any sense. I have lost it, depression is taking over. Hi there - for those of you who are asking... the following things have come to pass for me. I have now lost 94 lbs, I exercise daily, I am working less often and getting out more to have fun! I have found a terrific guy and we are committed to each other. I am building wealth, although not as quickly as I hoped for. My spiritual life is growing and I have begun to do more work for those causes which I am committed to. So I'd say overall the visualization exercise worked!

Great video. I wish I had a strong belief that there is a God. However, there is too many inconsistencies for me to believe in a God that the mind has created. It is great when some people can find their security in faith. Good for them. However, I question too deeply to believe in blind faith.

But the fact remain that such movies as these can serve as psychological tool to help a person get rid of their own self-doubts and their own self-reservations, and actually go out and attain their goal. @santorinisantorini that's not really being taken in. The concept was always there, someone decided to capitalize on it. Such is the way with ALL information: you can find it yourself, but many people don't even know to look in the first place. Were I to choose between losing 500 dollars but gaining the information I needed to improve my life, or to keep my money and simply hope to stumble into the information and recognize it's value, I would surely choose the former.

The wonderful thing about these mind movies is that they are created around each person's reality. In my reality, God is not mythical, he is real and my life belongs to him.. all my blessings come from him and I feel blessed greatly in my life. If we want wealth, we can have it- everyone has a pipeline of money just above his/her head- we only have to pull it down. And talk of countries misses the point- we are all ultimately one. @legggggggggy I have. I was in a horrific car accident while 7 months pregnant and engaged. The accident impaired me so I was dumped and could not work. I lost everything, including a place to live for myself, my son, and my new daughter. For four years I fought and could not find a decent attorney to take my case. When one did, he simply ripped me off, charging for services he never completed.
Then I began the ritual, homeless. April 2010, I received $97,012.78.

@mbshus Your rituals from the secret didn't make a difference. The case simply got closed finally which always takes a hell of a lot of time. I tried it myself. That money was always yours. In the secret they claim that if you do their rituals money just come to you. Someone need to be the sender. You had a case and a sender. People say "OMG I got tax back" yes of course you did if you calculated it wrong. "OMG I lost weight" yes you started running consistently. Its their own actions.

@mbshus The thing is that they exaggerate in the movie. The secret is about law of attraction which can be said in one line as being "what comes around goes around". If you are lazy you will get the lazy mans results. If you focus on all your bills then you will forget to focus on opportunities to make money. If you focus on negativity you don't see the good. They forgot to tell you that you have to take actions in the movie. Nothing comes to you without effort. Action steps is effort.

@mbshus I am sure that if you are true to yourself you will see that you just started to make another strategy and finally found someone that could do the job. I tried a 100 day challenge. I had no job but got a job. Did the secret help? No, I send more than 50 job applications and finally got a job. I saw many bills and only my monthly check from the government. I did everything in the secret. It took me one month to just prepare for the challenge. I did nothing wrong. No random checks came.

I created these couple of things in my mind in February that I am going to make them happen. As I was going through a very rough time, they helped me to pull through. Infact I could see them happen in my mind. They became very strong, but come November when everything is dead in Vancouver, nothing seems to make any sense. I have lost it, depression is taking over. I need that feeling back to make me whole again. Any suggestion?

What you gotta do is just do something different for a change - go to an interesting museum, go see a good movie, catch up with some friends/family.. Or just put on a favorite tune and go dance around your room - RIGHT NOW! Buy yourself something sexy! (-I don't care how old you are or what your gender is :) Also - just BREATHE. LET GO of those wishes you've written down - just keep doing what feels right. Also a good mantra to say

@veronica3001 Yes I have got some Joe Vitale cds, and I have meaning to tell you, I have experienced about 5-7 miracles since 15th Dec to 10th Jan, but not due to the cds. This is completely out of the world, but the cds have confirmed me as to what I was doing was right. The depression, as it seems, has left me completely. Thank you for your insights and guidance.

Hi there - for those of you who are asking... the following things have come to pass for me. I have now lost 94 lbs, I exercise daily, I am working less often and getting out more to have fun! I have found a terrific guy and we are committed to each other. I am building wealth, although not as quickly as I hoped for. My spiritual life is growing and I have begun to do more work for those causes which I am committed to. So I'd say overall the visualization exercise worked!

Great video. I wish I had a strong belief that there is a God. However, there is too many inconsistencies for me to believe in a God that the mind has created. It is great when some people can find their security in faith. Good for them. However, I question too deeply to believe in blind faith.

I can tell you for one the law of attraction works for me that is how I get most of the things i want now .I would not fight with others that don't believe... I usually wave at those people from my bentley.. The ones that are controlled by 1000 year old religions let them pitty you because deep down they want what you have or what you want they just use religion as the reason why they cant have it instead of them being unsucessful..

I'm sorry but this video is hogwash. It basically focusing on what you can get out of life (taking by takers). It's about MY house, MY car, My man, My, My, ME. Anyone who is really successful knows that you should focus on what you contribute or GIVE, and these things will come to those who do just that. Bill Gates never imagines to work part-time. Successful people with "old money" want to work and want to give. That is their passion. If nice things come with that, then good.

If you want to have a real positive influence in your life it has to be done in reality. The secret is dangerous because it says if you fail ultimately it is your own fault. Often the variables are beyond our control. Wishful thinking will do nothing to prevent that. The secret needs to be exposed for what it is. Opportunistic money grubbing.

@newcoyote I suggest a reading in human psychology, and the effects of negative thoughts and barriers in a person's mind. These mind videos specifically address that phenomenon. Of course, if you've convinced yourself that these videos that they're pointless, then they will have no effect on you.

On the other hand, I find your assertion of having "a grasp of what qualifies as scientifically-based psychology" to be rather doubtful, as any objective person would have AVOIDED calling this "rubbish" until they've seen proper study and scrutiny by a qualified scientific group.. @theflyingjbird Furthermore, the movie does not claim that the simple observance of the video itself is what makes the difference: it's the minds *reaction* to the video which makes the difference. This is a psychological tool, much in the same way that a psychologist might speak to a patient to help them overcome a psychological problem. It's just words, but it has an effect - this is an principle applicable to many psychological issues.

@theflyingjbird This movie is not the only reference I have seen on the subject. I have explored it adequately from both sides. The arguments against are far, far more convincing. The standards of evidence are not met. The plausibility is flimsy and it departs from the laws of physics. You can persist with this if you like but I don't buy it. Just another blame the victim if it doesn't work scam. Bye.

But the fact remain that such movies as these can serve as psychological tool to help a person get rid of their own self-doubts and their own self-reservations, and actually go out and attain their goal. In this sense, the mind movie is entirely functional.

@iamagodX Beliefs inform actions. False beliefs inform poor actions. "The Secret" sets up a blame the victim dynamic. If what you are seeking, no matter the degree of attainability in reality, can not be obtained it is only the fault of the individual. Can you not see in this the very real potential for harm? It is OK to dream. It is not OK to have unrealistic goals. That is a recipe for disaster.

@newcoyote Unrealistic goals do not exist; "unrealistic goal" in an oxymoron. No goal is unattainable, it's a shame that people actually believe otherwise. Each individual decides what is realistic for themselves. If you are a person who decides that a certain dream is attainable yet another one is not, then so it is for you. However no person will ever decide whether the dreams of another are or are not realistic.

@fundraiser101 Utter rubbish. Sure what you say is poetic and romantic but as nice as that would be, it simply is not true. This is not pessimistic or negative. It's life. Yes most of us CAN achieve great things if we apply our selves but to assert "No goal is unattainable" is asinine. Demonstrate otherwise. What is not being accounted for is the mighty variable. Some things are beyond our control. No, I'm not saying don't try. Just be aware of what is realistic. Not doing so can be devastating.

@santorinisantorini that's not really being taken in. The concept was always there, someone decided to capitalize on it. Such is the way with ALL information: you can find it yourself, but many people don't even know to look in the first place. Were I to choose between losing 500 dollars but gaining the information I needed to improve my life, or to keep my money and simply hope to stumble into the information and recognize it's value, I would surely choose the former.

The wonderful thing about these mind movies is that they are created around each person's reality. In my reality, God is not mythical, he is real and my life belongs to him.. all my blessings come from him and I feel blessed greatly in my life. Each person creates a movie that reflects his or her reality and dreams. Without God in MY life, it would not be a dream I would want to achieve.
My credibility comes from knowing who I am and what I believe.
