  • Anyone depicting VIVALDI as second rate ought to be publicly quartered

  • Dost dobré?

  • shnimmuc, what are you talking about? Vivaldi is vitality, creativity, passion, mistery, light and darkness, energy,... Vivaldi is a first class composer, no second rate

  • nice music... :)

  • I liked very much¡ this sinfonia with its suddenly dynamic changes seems like C.P. E. Bach´s pieces, Now. my image of Vivaldi´s music is much more heterogeneous and rich.

  • Vivaldi is second rate. Same chord progressions, over and over again.

Handel and Bach, now there are great composers.

  • @shnimmuc; Italian music after Monteverdi is based on limitations and certain formulas in comparison to German music. Vivaldi, Boccherini, Rossini and even Verdi (until the end of his career) have self-imposed limitations with their compositions. But maybe that's why Italian music is so popular with the general public. It's usually easy/fun to listen to.

  • @bb1111116 Isn't this way How Music Should be??? Music is fun... is freedom... Italian baroque lets the inner child to have fun and play as much as he wants...

Based in similar armonic progresion, but not limitation at all....
