  • What can you do if your opponants legs are crossed, as in a way preventing you from pulling on the leg?

  • I just gotta say I love your videos and they've already greatly improved my ground game. One thing I'm wondering about this technique though is that in the video your opponent always has his legs clasped conveniently for you to grab the upper leg. What if the legs are clasped the other way around, the upper leg holding down the leg you need to grab?

  • Thanks for your kind words. I'm not sure exactly what you're referring to with the legs. Since you're always stepping across with your free leg, it shouldn't matter which way his legs are crossed.

Please get on the MMA Discussion Board on our site and clarify there- I'm sure that a lot of our members will be able to help out, and maybe help me understand a little better. Thanks!

  • u might not like opposing comments and not to say the tech is bad but would it be easier to spin the other way and get the knee bar? spinning the other way is more unorthodox and suprising they really won't expect it. U can create the space by cross facing on the neck and somewhat tripod for the spin.

  • I welcome others input, and the direction that you are referring to is a viable option of this technique. I've seen it done both ways.

  • Goood Video! I already did this on my brother! Lol.

  • Excellent instructions. Im from Texas and I go to Chute Boxe Academy in the summer and train; so I know good instructions when I see them. Keep it up.

  • Thanks for your kind words. That makes all those late night hours worth while!
