  • 1:20 is he farting?

  • OK I don't like Richardson saying the Republicans repress minorities. The Republican party never tries to repress minorities, but the Democrats only try to represent them as a group of redneck racist.

  • If they fixed it,.

Then they would'nt be able to rig the outcome.

  • optical scanners? wtf? did i hear that right? jezz finger prints are out dated?

  • 'flying' is the action to travel in air, so 'levitating' would be a better choice of words...

  • Of course, maybe the guy's ear itches.

  • Maybe he thought it would fall out.

  • Pulling on the ear is a classic body language signal that someone is lying or thinking about lying.

  • fuck you how are republicans surpressing minority voters. all the minorities vote for YOU. maybe then we should surpress their vote

  • greg pallast "armed madhouse" see the youtube clip on that ..

  • i'm sorry...I refuse to listen to 28 minutes of an opinion based on circumstancial evidence and assumptions motivated by the convient hatred of Bush

  • You would think that in this day and age with all the new age technology they could put a picture of a canidate on the a ballot The demacrats are still whining about losing in 2000. Hell Mao Tse Sung put his picture on the ballot and guess who evryone in china voted for? or else! i guess these asshole what to do the same!

  • right on bill richardson

  • tHE dEMOCRATIC PARTY NEEDS TO STOP SURPRESSING WHITE JOB APPLICANTS FROM GETTING JOBS BY PUTTING PRESSURE ON BUSINESSES TO HIRE MINORITIES.

  • I can't believe this. I had such high hopes about this forum. Two incredibly important questions were asked and only Richardson responded to them; the integrity of voting machines and the process itself, and the fact that the dollar is losing value at a rapid pace. It would have been nice if after users submit a bunch of questions, the online community picks the best ones with CNN and youtube acting as the forum. The downside to that though, would be the probability of a prepared statement.

  • yES, i HAD HIGH HOPES THAT THEY'ED ASK MY QUESTION ABOUT AFFIRMATIVE ACTION/REVERSE DISCRIMINATION, BUT IT WAS PROBABLY NIXED BY THE LIBERALS AT CNN. TALK ABOUT FACISM

  • I'm a white male american, I'm not being descriminated against by afirmitive action. I'm judged on merit just like everyone else. That is sort of the point, if you missed it.

  • Republicans - Democrats - same thing, same shit.

We are a nation of trash, morons and idiots who are being led like sheep to the slaughter but it's nice to have the illusion that we actually have a vote or that our vote counts.

But on the bright side, we have fast food on every corner to stuff our obese faces and reality shows to occupy our useless minds.

Good luck to future generations, we have let you down.

  • Wow not many people like you who actually talk sense. Your so right

  • Thank you.

  • @johninves so what do you suggest we do?

  • Actually? It was the old white guy to the far left...What's his name again? Anyway you can clearly see him with his hand over his ass moving to and fro from the brief side camera view at 1:31 - 1:32. He then looks down presumably hoping no one heard that...

  • That was not an Obama-bunker buster...it was actually A Clinton-stealth-QUEEF !! It snuck around Barak's back and exited to his left, breaking the cunt-fart sound barrier at exactly 1:20, although it was launched at 1:08 in the video. Amazing precision HilDog!!

  • pathetic humans

some of the next leaders of the most powerful nation on earth are standing there, and they can't even control their flatulence.

    jesus christ.

  • obama farts at 1:20. he turns right towards bill richardson and farts!!!! so funny, listen carefully and u will hear it, hahahaha....

  • omg lol its true!!

  • You HAVE to have verified paper trails!

  • bill richardson has great ideas so i looked more info on him and it turns out he is so popular n new mexico for all of his improvments on the state and honestly think he may be the nex president of 2008

  • Lots of the candidates are so well practiced, that they come off as too smooth and kinda plastic. It's refreshing to hear the frigne candidates cuz they sound more realistic. I like Gravel, Kucinich and I'm starting to hear Richardson more.

  • vote richerson cuse he kicks ass!

  • ROFL a fart

  • Vote Mike Gravel or Ron Paul in 2008 for America's future and Freedom!

  • Hey debate watchers, want some comic relief?

Check out our latest Campaign Recap.

    - The Sock

    youtube + /watch?v=9hbA77sLeIc

  • and then my computer was like.... beep beep beep beep! and my vote was ..... gone

  • Starbucks lattes? Why don't any of the individuals who pose questions to candidates make the minimal effort to at least sound intelligent and be taken seriously? Almost all of the video debates I've watched has audience members laughing after each question. How sad.

  • don't take it so seriously is was an analogy dunmbass

  • You can't even spell the word and you're already stooping to the level of a child with namecalling. How pathetic.

  • bill richardson seems like a much more genuine candidate than obama or clinton :/

  • yeah but not hyped the same way. it's all about looks now, not what they say. half of what they say are bullshit anyways.

  • electoral college is purely inane. popular vote would give a much more honest response to voting counts. excuse my poor spelling if i made any errors here. and no inane was not a spelling error, it is a real word.

  • I totally agree!

  • Anyone who wants to "go to any state and vote the same way" needs to cut back on the caffeine. You are supposed to vote once where you are a resident. Voters have time to figure it out. Those that can't should simply stay home.

Federalizing elections is no guarantee that you will get the best program of 50 states. Aren't these the same candidates that don't like national educational standards?

  • Why didn't any of these "brilliant" rich people say because its a states issue not a federal issue?

  • who farted?

  • I don't know I think it was the guy asking questions saying "Hmm" perhaps not if it was a fart that was the perfect moment to hear it lol.

  • optical scanners, good bye freedoms, hello minority report

  • Lol.

  • Optical scanning? No thanks.

  • clever question

  • I don't understand why everyone isn't given a receipt with a special code. The code, along with a password, could be used to confirm your vote at an online database. Get rid of Diebold and have Google, Yahoo, Microsoft, and/or the open source community develop it.

  • agree, but the open source community is too liberal (thus unbiased) they would never agree. all they need to do is open the source code to the software at every location and verify it before every vote... you know there is a flash card input to change the firmware on the fly on diebold machines?

  • Diebold actually gave someone the chance to test their software and the person was able to seed the ACCESS DATABASE???! on a removable flash card with -10 for candidate A and +10 for candidate B. Diebold then ran their initialization which didn't reset the totals OR even register that it was not 0. After voting the totals were skewed as you would expect. Many districts complained of vote totals registering negative numbers. Sound suspicious?

  • Seriously man. There are a lot of decaffeinated brands on the market that are just as tasty as the real thing.

  • It was me.

  • he farted, fat bastard. watch my vid

  • Yeah I noticed it.

  • that was not a fart you 8th grader! It was Anderson giving a sort of grunt.

    Jeez, Beavis!

  • Melissa Jenna asked a very smart and valid question, and all this guy can do is fart! That's not right!

  • if an idiot is to stupid to vote than than are to stupid to vote, states wont agree, I think I had this chic once

  • At 1:20 of the video... did I hear a fart?

  • lol yeah i did

  • It was a fart!

  • LOL

  • Demand paper ballots and reliable machines across the US. No more ridiculous lines in poor districts! Naturally, Kucinich addresses this in his policy.

  • Did anyone else not notice Mr. Richardson passing a little gas at 1:20?? Crank up your speakers; it's totally there.

  • he did!

  • LOL!!!!

  • hee haa. Imagine accountable votes. If you vote your vote is able to be tracked, not by name but by the way you voted. Lets stop these electronic devises that have potential for fraud..

  • Great I only have to figure out how to hack one system. Why are people so clueless.

  • Easy answer to her question.

Well the big problem is because it is a states issue and the Federal Government doesn't have the power to tell states what type of voting to use.

  • Debating the Debate: CNN/Youtube dems, Charlotte(SC) 7/23/07

    watch?v=zlb_tLQKCNM

  • Anything to get the young people out there I'm all for...G/J Richardson

  • Wow , I'm impressed that this question was asked, but it only goes halfway--it's more like because these machines are easily able to be manipulated those in power can steal votes on purpose...as in calculated subversion. What Richardson is talking about doesnt sound like it can be done by the time of the election, this should have been pushed for a lot sooner.
