  • Can u make me 1

  • please could you send me the list of materials used cheers mate

  • Even though it looks cool as shit and I wish something like this could be done it just wouldn't work because although you can shrink the parts down as much as you want you can't shrink down the size of air molecules or the size of fuel molecules or the amount of air to fuel needed for combustion. Sry. awsome attempt though I love it!

  • Bullshit put ir tubine in rc air craft carier how it workz .... Moron guy

  • holy clit tit shit

  • Wow now you can make a ant airplane

  • Showing parts is easy. Does it works?

  • @edupuhl Making parts isn't...

  • Mostrar peças é fácil. Cadê o funcionamento?

  • How much it will be to buy one off u?

  • @Ec130Rhine last line of the discription...

  • looks like it should be a lighter.

  • how would you heat the combustion chamber hot enough to burn fuel without destroying the entire engine?

  • Where can I get one

  • Where is the demonstration that this is a turbine fucking moron?

  • if you scaled this up 2/1 would it actualy work with maybe some mods like bigger intake and compressor

    plzs reply

  • YouTube is for video. This is not à video.

  • Heres a pair of scissors

  • My god.. if this reactor works, I cut my penis!

  • Fake and Gay

  • @stiffyschlong atention whore

  • it works?

  • is't possible use for micro airplane?

  • that would make an awesome keychain 0_0!!!!

  • Yeah great but it soesn't fly so it sucks

  • is it just a fantasy thing or does it work?

  • I've probably watched this vid ten times, this is the one of the things that makes YouTube my favorite website!!!

  • is it working?

  • does it work.......or......WILL IT BLEND

  • good job for now..

  • How much does this cost?

  • WHAT THE

  • 12 millions a round is wrong, must be 12 billions a second.

  • fuking bomb

  • it looks like a vibrator ._.

  • no doubt in my mind, that THAT thing is the dildo of the future.

  • gibt es dafür auch eine Bauanleitung?

  • it looks like a crack pipe

  • you can make lighter that is lika burner but small and to look like jet engine that would be funny ...

  • It's a paintball N2 tank regulator..

  • EI man i need 8 turbines like that ,were can i buy-it i now that one is not for sale, but i need because i have working in a mini jet and i want to put-it on to fly ...

  • its not a jet engine its a mini dildo

  • If you used a radial compressor, maybe even with 2 stages, you might stand a chance of it working! With 2 axial stages, you dont get enough compression, at that size you cannot work precisely enough and the friction and tip losses kill you.

  • i am closer of getting tot the weird part of you tube again worst nipple pearcing reaction ever why youtube

  • Cool, now turn it on...

  • Wow

  • thanks for watching......ok.......Thanks for showing me that it actually works.

  • it will never run, its clear you have no idea as to what's involved here. I play with real jet engines so I know a little about this and let me say that little tiny jet is cool as all hell! I meet people like you all the time and in a few years you'll have something running that others said was impossible. Keep up the good work and dream on!

  • Can you make a video were it run?

  • But... does it run Crysis?

  • hey you stupid fuck>>>>where is the demo????

  • its a laser pointer

  • Some other ass hat had a video of this and claimed he designed it.

  • Typical model gas turbine 120,000 rpm. Assuming 1/10th of that size, you should plan on needing 12,000,000 (twelve million) rpm to stand any chance of it working.

Did you consider that before spending time building this?

  • @doobydooby223 I knew it from the begining that it was a fail.. but i couln't resist trying it.. In my opinion the result is not perfect, but quite satisfactory for a static model..

  • @johnnyq90 would be awesome if it could work

  • @johnnyq90 The light bulb took some 2000 attempts and when asked about his failures Edison replied "I did not fail to make a light bulb 1,999 times. I simply found 1,999 ways how to not make a light bulb

  • @6billionuserIDs btw this was more directed at doobydooby223 sorry for mis quote :/

  • @6billionuserIDs Don't worry i liked your comment, it's very inspiring seeing people beleive in what i'm doing, thank you

  • @6billionuserIDs

Edison didn't invent the light bulb alone, he stole the work of hundreds of inventors, built a working model, then didn't give them any credit for it.

    Fuck edison.

  • @Zvesda I am aware there were more minds than his....And im left wondering if perhaps along the way he became the "Spot light" (Pun intended) "Stole"? i dont know I wasnt there. But you are intitled to your own opinions and I respect that :)

  • @6billionuserIDs dont forget the troll face part

  • @johnnyq90 Dont be so hard on yourself. You didnt fail. You succeeded in finding out how NOT to do it....

  • @johnnyq90 keep building them and sell them as keychains things look awesome

  • @doobydooby223 wouldnt it be 1,200,000 (one million two hundred thousand)?

  • Comment removed

  • @xxSparticus : I assumed that functioning rpm is inversely proportional to compressor diameter squared. There's no point doing the precise maths for such an obvious case and empirical data is non-existent. I've ignored shock wave formation considerations. A linear relationship (which is what your one million two hundred thousand rpm is based upon) generates an underestimate of rpm, although it's still extremely clear that such rotational speeds would be completely impracticable.

  • @doobydooby223 It's plain as a pike staff to everyone, that the Fluffle valve would be far too small to work properly. If you take into account the missing coggle pin from the parts, it has all the makings of a plane crash. (As you can see, you are not the only one on here, who is capable of coming out with a load of bollocks for a statement)

  • @doobydooby223 no actually u dont need such high rpm...typical gas turbines on idle power can run as low as 10,000rpm. reducing size does not mean u have to increase rpm..

wat experience do u have with jet engines ? (not trying to insult u, just asking if u've built or handled or studied jet engines)

  • @doobydooby223 Size is irrelevant with RPMs...

  • @doobydooby223 As rotating systems get smaller, their potential RPM goes up. Smaller bearings and slimmer shafts result in greater RPM, not the other way around.

Nice workmanship mate, well-machined, can't be easy at that scale.

  • @doobydooby223

you did your math wrong you only need 1/10 of the full speed to work properly. he only needs 12 thousand rpm not 12 million.

  • @doobydooby223

Your an idiot. Just because it's 1/10 the scale doesn't mean RPMS need to be multiplied by a factor of 10. That is not how physics work.

  • @doobydooby223 What the fuck are you talking about...

  • @doobydooby223 there are jet engins 3/10 of this size and they work fine, infact the worlds first secsesful jatpack was made using it

  • @doobydooby223 12,000,000rpm... that's pretty high revs!

  • @55chh imposible for that smale thing to make

  • @doobydooby223 you don't scale down speed dumb ass... so you think my 1/10 scale r/c car that is rated at 55mph travels at "scale" 550mph?.... but even at 120,00 rpm I am afraid it won't work.... nice static display though, you should mass produce and sell as keychains!! or display models

  • @doobydooby223 RPM depends on compresio ratio, no on size. With differential compressor it is typically 4:1 or 5:1, that is why model turbines need to spin so fast (100-150k rpm) in order to achieve any thrust. On the other hand little bigger engine with combination of axial and differential compresors, and compression ratio of 10:1 to 20:1 spin 30-40k rpm at full throtle because on those speeds air is compressed enough to support large amount of fuel pumped in.

  • @doobydooby223 sorry...you can't just scale everything by a factor of 10...that's not the way engineering works...even though that this engine here still might not work.

  • it won't work, i'll commit suicide if it works.

  • I am very much interested . Because the datas sez ; it can't run with any usefull thrust With this size : the RPM should be so high to get a sufficient EPR and thermal performance with the flame size , unless helicoïdal comb. chamber ... ( with a radial compressor # 200 000 rpm at least ?? Which gives very hard to solve mechanical problems.

  • so it doesnt work... can i have it now PLEASE???

  • Does it actually work?

  • how long did it take yu to make that...wouldataken me a year and mayb a degree to do so.

  • Put it on a paper plane :)

  • God don't tell my dentist that!

  • It's MODEL, not a working unit. I think these tiny size does not provide the normal flow of the gas-tract, and the close proximity of components will overheat and destroy the bearings if this thing will work wonderfully.

  • are you planing on starting this engine on propane ?? cause i think jet fuel & air are too dense for its size. what can you estimated idle speed will be like 120.000 thousand RPM ??

  • So Johnny - did it work ?

  • the reason for no video is because it simply will not work. you dont have the tools nor the resources available to build such a small device.

  • An engine like this is too small compared to the air molecules to provide useful thrust. Using jet fuel in it would cause it to melt. It's very cool but it won't work.

  • and now let your keys fly D:<

  • dude were can i get one

  • @xXskaterxlegandXx It's not for sale...

  • @johnnyq90 got to say, job well done. fail or not, still, job well done

  • @johnnyq90 what are the bearings called and where did you get them?

  • @dpress95 I used two hybrid bearings (2x5x2.5mm) and i bought them from my country.. You can find them at VBX bearings, they have everything..

  • @johnnyq90 it should be im willing to pay $79,99 for it ;)

  • @7249xxl

Well for that price it should at least make noise for that price.

    F-1

  • @xXskaterxlegandXx reach up ur ass far enough and im sure you can get one

  • @xXskaterxlegandXx i think he made it

  • This is great! I wish I had one!

  • im gonna use a cheat:

    show me the video

  • Clearly, it's intended purpose is to be placed inline on a long stem of a bong, downstream from the bowl.

  • when you get it going you shoul atatch it to a matchbox

  • y anda???

  • you can power a miniature cruise missile with that..goodbye my neighbor ugly dog

  • Would like to see a run test I already have a model top fuel rail that would use a mini jt8

  • Will it blend..rotfl best comment ever

  • I think the question we all want answered is... Will it blend?

  • If it would work, at what speed do you suppose will it turn? My guess is close to 1000,000 rev/min if it can withstand that temperature and pressure. That thing will be ideal for A4 folded paper size planes.

  • sell me one!!!

  • thouht it was an dildo

  • stick ur finger in it :P

  • Impressed. Excellent model of how to go about it. It is the model and how you go about refining it, with out ever putting fire to it. Let some one with money take it up from you. Anybody can add fire, but not what you have already taught.

  • were can i buy a engine like this

  • this is totally awasome.. and you must must test it..!! please let me know when yuo do..!!

  • Where did you buy this jet engine?

  • @scotennedboar read the uploader's comment above

  • what tools do you use to cut the turbines so well ( I mean perfectly round!!!) and what tools do you use to make the rest of the engine?

    pls reply

    thx

  • @Pestisor11 I made a tool for cutting the disks which is basically a pair of compasses that has a very sharp tip on one end.. Then i make a hole in the metal sheet that i want to cut the disk (it will be the center of the disk) and then i start turning the tool carefully until the sharp end creates the first circle. I repeat that step until the sharp end has cut the sheet to the point that you can remove the created disk by hand.. The rest of the engine is just an absorber taken from R/C car

  • @johnnyq90 and the main schaft, the case, the combustion chamber, the bearings were collected from other things or they were hand made and if so how?

  • @Pestisor11 The main shaft came from a 130 type dc motor, the c.c was made from a metal tube that was cut to the right size and using some very fine and thin drill bits i made the holes.. The main body came from an absorber of an R/C car, and i made little to no modifications for this part.. The only thing i bought was the hybrid bearings...

  • @johnnyq90 the hybrid bearings can be made by hand or not?

How do you sticked the defuser to the combustion chamber?

Are the nuts, bolts bout from a shop or you made them and so how?

Do you solder the turbine fan and the oder components to the shaft or they are threaded?

  • even if it doesn't work it is still a great scale display piece, it would go great in a tiny model shop.

  • we want see it in function!! please!!!!

  • Broken English is funny! You all sound like Yoda!......absolutely impressed I am......

    ha ha

  • you say is not fore sale and you don't have schematics.

then make the schematics and about the sale...your decision.

    please reply

    thx

  • @Pestisor11 You're right, i did some thoughts about that, but there are two main problems: The first is that since it doesn't work, who would bother making one of these? And the other thing is that, it's so small that i'm not sure if there are machines to do the job, but even if these machines existed (which is not impossible to be honest), it would cost a lot to manufacture..

  • @johnnyq90 i am good with electronics and i had a few succesfull jet engine projects.I think i can make it work.

    thx

  • @johnnyq90 nederlands?

  • @johnnyq90 So you say it doesn't work then what is its purpose? you didn't make it to work? may be a key chain?

  • @KHindustani That's not a bad idea...

  • Where can I get one?

  • i have one word for you sir: MAKEAVIDEO!!!!

  • i was wondering when this will go into production? if so i am keen to put in a large order or maybe a manufacturing line? please message me if you are keen. thank you

  • Phil of the future status?

  • what a waste of time watching this BS

  • absolutely impressed i am !

  • ok does it run????

  • put that in a lighter. then you can light your cigarette with a jet engine!

  • Awesome. great job!

  • for the 2 back fan blades .. do they spin together or each have different revolution of spinning ? this thing is sooo kool when i was a kid i tried to make something like this...but i failed because i didnt know what i was doing.. i did managed to make the same small metal fans like u.

  • @zero00tolerance they spin together cause they are on the same axle

  • @vanche1123 ok thanks... because u know how of the 3d jet engine animation its usually show like there are 4 different types of fans and they seems to spin differently some even spin the opposite and that always gets me confused as how they achieve that method

  • @zero00tolerance always gets me confused as how they achieve that method here is a short and simple answer get on your bike an accelerate to about 15 mph and look at the front tire focus on it and you will see that its spining in the opposite direction of the direction it should spin

  • @vanche1123 WELL ill be DAMN thankyou master of physics ...so that is why the fans seems to spin crazy all these years i thought they were spin like that for a purpose... as to change the direction of the air to compress ... etc etc.. but ok thanks

  • and where can I find thoose bearings

  • any way this is a cool thing do you mind if I make plan on inventor?

  • man!!! johnnyq90 you are a bad liar you said that you didn't test the thing witch you did the evidence is on the picture at 0:35 you can see that the blades are a little red what means that they have been on fire.

  • @vanche1123 The problem is that there is no reason to put these blades on fire, because of the fact that they consist of the cold side of the engine, because its the one that sucks the air... Besides, on the video at 0:29 you can clearly read that you are about to see the front side.. Metals get red when heated, not all the time.. When you want to ask something from a stranger don't call him a liar first, because probably you won't get what you 're asking...

  • @johnnyq90 yeah silly me I forgotten that

  • Comment removed

  • that is just to damn coool man

  • fake

  • at beginning i thought it was a simple thing that wouldn't work but thats legit

  • dude i want one give me a price

  • this will fit on a paper plane! awesome xD

  • @IWMYB61 In the latest update of the engine i 'm using a centrifugal compressor, but i'm not sure if it's going to work either..

  • if you make it work it will be a world record like thing and it will be very cool and awsm

  • Like the idea, but practically I don't think it would work at least not for long, the bearings would burn out and the materials I don't think could withstand the heat.

  • no turbine engine will work unless you use ceramic bearings ive had this problum before on a three inch turbine i built, steel bearings just seeze up tite, heres another thing to know use alchol with oil mixed into it for the fuel airplane fuel, it burns cleanner and runs cooler, also remove the covers on the bearings so thay get lubercated,

  • Hello! could someone please invier the complete

plan of micro jet engine? thank anyone who can

    share,

    Thank you!

  • How did you build the compressor??????

  • Awesome thanks

  • WOW, awesome , what a beauty . Thanks for sharing with us .
