So sad watching this, even though we've had BB12 and BB13 is on it's way this Summer.. it's still not the same as it was back on Channel 4.

I'm not saying I don't like the new era of Big Brother, because I do - but I just miss the olden days, in saying that BB 2010 was horrible.

My favourite series have to be BB5, BB6, BB7 and definitely BB9.

@Kinky20 basically they got letters from home, something that they always cry about in BB after not hearing from family for a very long time

i think his letter was especially sad because his mum had cancer and the letter was saying that she was responding well to chemo and now wearing a wig :( really sad for poor richard. hope his mum recovered from it.

That would eliminate the bores and we could have Nasty Nick and Vic hosting for example. Thanks for the reply, it has helped form my new view.  I just felt it would be better to have people connected with the series involved in the hosting rather than some big celeb who I wouldn't as a viewer be able to connect with as well. But people may want such a celeb, that's fine.

Of course mankind can make better stuff than BB that culturally resonates through the ages but I for one will miss coming home after a long day at work and relaxing for an hour watching easy to absorb TV where I could happily moan about the people in it without fearing any repurcussions and it allowed me to take pleasure in it! What a great video! You really captured some of the truly emotional episodes that always made Big Brother a better than average reality TV show like Richard's message from home in BB7 and Vanessa's eviction in BB6. Also some of the best low points where human nature is exposed at its most despicable such as Sezar's arrogance in BB7 and Emily's ignorance in BB8!
