  • model rail road landscaping sites are very good for learning how to paint to look weathered and used so it doesn't stand out

  • guys in prison gangs are really good at this kind of stuff. Unfortunately, all of their techniques are secret and anyone caught revealing these techniques would likely be killed.

  • Rosebud

  • arent home made dead drops illegal in most states?

  • @PMJustinY ur kidding right? it ain't illegal to hide stuff. making a hidden spot in a car is illegal but cashing a key in the yard IS NOT!!

  • @PMJustinY how? they are just containers LOL

  • nice

  • you should look for the PDF of: How to hide everything published by paladin express

it has truly some sneaky compartment ideas

  • @florisjanpietster I'll be looking for that. In case I don't know where to start, any leads?

  • that "grass mound", personally, looks more like horse scat, rather then a "grass mound" lol.

  • Damn, beat me to the geocaching suggestion

  • The other great thing about using something like deoderant is that it is somewhat unappealing. Sprinkle some armpit hair on there and people will be even less likely to examine it.

  • things that you instictivly would not want to touch would tend to be effective. such as hollowed out urinal cakes, fake dog logs, toilet paper rollers, seemingly used tampon applicators, non alcoholic beer, poetry books,......

  • Another great video thanks you inspired me to think out of the box! Will be using items that my family would recognize as secret messaging!! thanks!

  • They were used in colonial period by the cullper ring.

  • Neat ideas. The one problem I can see with the deodorant one though is that if you left it sitting around outside there is more of a chance someone could throw it out before it was picked up by the intended person, because it's "garbage", whereas a rock isn't.

  • You can also get a ton of great dead drop device ideas from the world of geocaching. The whole point is to hide stuff in both overt & covert ways.

    Great vid.

  • @adventurek9 I think we need a ITS geocaching event!

  • @adventurek9 I like the "hollow bolt" type, they are so cool :)

just type "geochache bolt" in google image, some of them are amazing.

  • Good information and should be easy to make. Thanks for posting. Take Care :-))

  • Awesome video guys! I love the ways people come up with to stash things or pass notes.

  • VERY COOL!

  • well one idea is to check out the miniture modeling comunity here on yt a lot of excelent guys and girls out there show techniques of creating realistic looking terrain effects using paint and polyfiller etc

also waterproof capsules we tend to use in this comunity for pills etc can also be used to store something like this in water like a toilet cistren etc

  • OH YEAH !

A DIY DEAD DROP, SWEEEET !!!
