They were later acquited of the charges of murder as the court deemedit was merely a college prank gone wrong, so they got away with murder but not expulsion. True story. Nice short film.
Em, I believe this is an adaption of the incident between the dean of students during the 1730's who was notoriously fowl tempered. he returned to his accomodation in the rubrics to find two students throwing stones at his window, so started shooting at them, they went off and got their pistols and returned fire mortally wounding the dean.
It is! I made the short film as part of a project for my Performance Technology class in Drama and Film studies in Trinity last year. I read about the incident in a history book and thought it would make a nice short film.
