It's a wonderful and inspiring film about Soccer. Football is a generic term for a ball game that happens to involve the use of kicking - time to get over the football issue, it's redundant and ambiguous. Bring back Soccer, Aussie Rules, American Football, Rugby classifications - they are more specific and identifiable, by type and classification.

However, to play "soccer", not only does the coach need tactical skill, but you must have both teamwork and individual skill. Just kicking a ball around won't win the game. Soccer is a real sport. One of the few, actually, that blend individual skill and teamwork so naturally, so perfectly.

Audible's, in and out's, i formation shotguns, zone's, man on man, dueces, weak toss, hb dive, qb sneak, etc. And you mean to tell me the coach does all this? Learn the sport noob.

Those are tactics a COACH orders his team to do. And the order. And he hopes it works against the opponents tactic.

There's little room for creativity.

Plus, all of those moves (and I don't care what they're about, just probably different variations of "walk x distance, throw ball with y strength") can easily be learned.

On "soccer", there's a lot of room for a player's skill and creativity. Think of Robinho's "pedalada". It's a feint, essentialy, but it involves mostly creativity.

Players have to interact with each other, all the while being creative, doing something the other team won't even imagine. I'd link you to one of the best soccer plays, if you want. This means there's no "soloing" in soccer. Unless under certain circumstances, but then so is any other team-based sport.

If you watch that video, you'll notice almost every play ends passing the ball to a teammate.

Those are awesome plays. Beautiful plays. Perfect plays.

And by the way, where have I said "football" isn't a sport? I just said "soccer" is better :)
