  • nice rig... do you recommend the red internal lighting? because it will be in my bedroom i dont want something to distracting

  • @maxomia Thanks! I enjoy the red lighting it's different from the standard blue. I would say red is also less bright on the eyes compared to green and blue.

  • MERRY CHRISTMAS

  • my specs from Digital Storm .. btw, 1 of my reasons i went with DS was b/c of their forums.

    haf 922 i7-920 .. 2.66 ghz

evga x58 le edition sli w/ cooler master v8

500 gb western digital 7200 rpm

    6 gb ddr3 1600 mhz mushkin

    nvidia geforce gtx 295 co-op edition .. soon, i didn't buy a video card 1000w corsair hx

    windows 7, professional 64 bit

  • and that was the thing that kept me from buying ANY expansive computer from any company was that I was lacking the knowledge about computers. Since I have a decent paying job now I can buy from any company even ones with bad tech like cyberpower or ibuypower.

  • hi. i was led here via the forum in Digital Storm .. i ordered the i7-Extreme 2 last wednesday with several upgrades. seeing this is my 1st gaming pc, i'm pretty excited. been without a pc for abt a month + 1/2 .. researching many companies like Cyber Power and iBuyPower, but at the last moment i found Digital Storm. they're a bit expensive, but quality matters.

nice unboxing .. i'll probably post photos and make a slideshow.

  • cool computer! Too bad they overcharge for you.. i guess that's what you gotta pay for decent tech support and having the legit company's logo

I was thinking about buying from these websites (digitalstorm, alienware or even just regular XPS)

but then i thought about it and just did some reading on building my own computer. Best thing I ever did, now I am able to trouble shoot any problem and very comfortable working inside a PC.

  • Well, I will say this. I priced building my own computer last summer and fall. By getting all of the parts I wanted my total would have been around $1500. DS could build me that same system with all the parts I wanted for just $200 dollars more. Why wouldn't I pay that little bit extra to get quality, assurance that product will work, and great support?

  • Yeah but you should go out and build a cheap computer just to learn the way things work. You will be more comfortable with that expansive pc if things start to fail or you want to upgrade since hardware is always advancing.

  • with that logic, he should go buy a shitty car just so he can learn how to fix it. Losers with no money can buy cheap; us with real jobs can pay someone to go through the trouble.

  • You completely miss the point.. it is the experience that is rewarding..and plus a lot more fun.

Btw people should go buy a shitty used car so he can understand how it works and wouldn't have to worry so he has that ability to diagnose problems himself and be able to speak to a mechanics and understand what is being overcharged and what is not.

btw sorry if i don't have a real job I am finishing my residency training as a physician (IM)

  • should have built your own son

  • lol, why you say that?

  • Because he wants your PC to look like a spaghetti bowl on the inside and the outside like his does. With no warranty or tech services if something ever happen to your PC, but then again PC hardware never EVER fails right? LOL.

DS built good stuff, nice vid :)

  • Exactly! That is what I went for 3 year warranty on the build and tech support. DS is one of the highest rated custom computer builders on the web, with some of the lowest prices for their high grade of quality of product.

  • i made a gaming rig myself but i only let them give the a ticket best i don't got no $14,468

  • lol...sounds like you maxed everything out...maxing out the price doesn't mean the best and fastest computer. If your really interested in getting a computer hop online to Digital Storm's Forums, and ask the members for help on building a great rig, with a ideal price range for you ;) it's worth a shot, believe me!

  • dang! very nice rig, enjoy...

wat games u gonna be gamin on it with?

  • nice vid stat - gratz - i've had my DSO system for 2 weeks and just lovin it! The quality, the professionalism, the care is just so worth it- like you, I shopped for parts and did the price comparison and just found this to be easier - mine came to about $1500 and I took the crate shipping for the extra $200 cuz it was coming from CA to NJ - well worth it.

  • Yeah they are real proffesional in the products they put out and that is hard to find in companies today.

  • Digital Storm is the best. Period.

  • 100% agree.

  • I'm thinking about ordering a pc from DS in September. Not everyone is comfortable of building their own pc.

  • this is ur best alternative

  • So does every computer come with a 3 ring binder?

  • to my knowledge yes. if ur interested in custom build comp this is the place to go! Customer service is great compared to the other guys. They might seem a lil higher in price, but its because they are WAYY better quality!

  • I've got my computer coming already. Shipped two days ago! :D Just wondering about the binder thing....

  • great! awesome! yeah you should get then binder and i believe a DS shirt as well!

  • Shirt? O.O AWESOME!! What size did you get? Only 3-4 more days. (DAMN GROUND SHIPPING! ) :P

  • i didnt get one, that didnt send them yet wen i ordered mine :/

  • ohh....hopefully i get one. Sigh, 2 -3 more days.

  • didn't show the insides? LOSER.

  • im good with dell....ive done too many things to it already.

  • Awesome! I'm currently building a rig right now with that case.

  • i <3 my Antec 900! lol

  • rich bastard. lol nice rig. i love the music

  • haha, i had to save up for a few months, lol but thanks!

  • wouldn't doubt it lol

  • Hey I'm looking at the same computer but starting at the 830$ mark adding a few things. Comes standard already with a 9600GT 512MB. Should I upgrade to an ATI HD 4800 512MB for an extra 55$? What cards in the list is really worth it? Thanks and very nice computer!

  • im not a big fan of ATI, but from what i've heard the ATI HD 4000 series is one of the best vid cards out there. So for 55 bucks, I'd go for it!

and thanks! I'm glad u liked my comp, i love it!

  • nice what are the specs?

  • click on the more info link on the left side to see them :)

  • o lol nice system but why didnt you just build it yourself

  • If parts fail i have to call vendor/supplier, no warranty, if sumthin goes wrong i am responsible. I didnt want all that, so i let the guys do it at Digital Storm. They are suberb!

  • thats very true but its alot more fun to build it yourself

  • How much did the entire thing cost you?

  • right around $1700.00. def worth it, the quality from Digital Storm in unparrelled!

  • nice video..
