@bombarderoauzl It makes sense that the thing can survive pretty much any impact, the pressure at the bottom of the ocean can turn rocks into sand, then back into rocks, so the tensile strength that would require could stand up to any conventional weapon. But the nuke should have killed it, because nukes turn matter into energy

After the protagonists talked to the army man, he said, that they will hit another big attack on the monster, then they will give up on the island.

The Big attack from them was that stealth bomber. That propably didn't work. The monster grabbed the helicopter and killed the camera man.

After the 2 other friends grabbed the camera, you can hear in the background the sound of a nuclear rocket launch.
