i bought a shuffle around a year ago for car journeys and just generally to cure boredness, it was great for about 3 months until it stopped working, i have never got round to finding out what caused it but im not prepared to spend money on it if it is so un reliable.

"you can do almost everything" yeah except podcasts, videos, calendars, games, notes, options, photos, and a SCREEN. the ipod nano 3rd and 4th gen are only about 1.5 or 2 times the size and they can hold at LEAST 1000 songs the shuffle is for working out or for poor people (joking)

You have to see the instructions card. The same happened to me, and it was "Ipod error 1429"... It can´t be fixed, I recommend you just buy a new one.

well did u put music in it i had same problem but that didnt work for me i just went to settings and put restore on the ipod then i sync the music and it worked
