just put in a few days a go and they would check that stuff. 2 were are the safety ropes 4 you see him going up the one side look at him closely he tried going down the other but he couldn't b/c the other side went off as well he was trapped.

The U.S. printed this all weird when it happened. Made it like the fire works went off on him and then he fell off of the bridge. Clearly that's not what happened. God, really makes you see how the press can twist things. I remember hearing the outrageous version of this story and thinking, "OH MY GOD! And he was okay????"

This was an accident! The bridge never meant to fall down. It was a technical fault, since a cable broke. Michael hurt his back very badly - he feel down very fast from 18m height. He went back on stage and he said the only thing he heard was his father's voice saying "Michael, don't disappoint the audience" BTW Kenny Ortega was responsible for this. He never apologized to Michael. After the concert, he broke down and was rushed to a hospital. He had very bad bruises and grazes.

I think the soldier guy forgot what he was supposed to be doing because he was worried about Michael. MIchael was like no keep going...it's hard to tell that its pain when he bends because he does that in sad songs, but you can tell at 8:47 his whole body is tense trying to withstand the pain.
I thought this was the accident that cracked a vertebra in his lower back.(?) The chest & ribs thing was when he slipped & fell against the toilet coming out of the shower; he talks about it in the Jessie Jackson radio interview I believe. That's why he showed up to court in his pj's...he really was in the hospital. He coughed up blood because he bruised a lung.

Wow my heart just sank. At 8:39 he was in so much pain! Omg I cannot stand watching Michael in pain. It hurts me so much. This man had to endure so much and he was so amazingly strong. The best entertainer EVER so professional; no one else could have went on with a busted up chest and sprained foot.
Michael was truly a consumated performer. Even after suffering such a bad fall, he continued to perform as if nothing happen. It's difficult to tell what went wrong just by viewing this clip. But, if you compare this to the same routine he performed just a couple days earlier in Seoul, you can clearly see the stunt in this performance went really bad. someone messed with the brig they was trying to kill him. if i understand that somethings like that can happen how ever 1 the brig is more likely to only lose one side and lean, not lose both sides and drop straight down that only what that could have happen is if the thins was rusted. (which i thank it hard to believe b/c it was

the bridge hit the ground so hard it jolted him, he was in pain..if you watch the entire video (it's on YT) you'll see he never even changed his outfit...he performed the next song in the same one. He gave us fans SO much of himself~RIP angel

The U.S. printed this all weird when it happened. Made it like the fire works went off on him and then he fell off of the bridge. Clearly that's not what happened. God, really makes you see how the press can twist things. I remember hearing the outrageous version of this story and thinking, "OH MY GOD! And he was okay????"

I knew something didn't look right when it went down past the stage to the floor. He looked back a of couple times, but he kept on going. Don't they have to check things before the show?

This was an accident! The bridge never meant to fall down. It was a technical fault, since a cable broke. Michael hurt his back very badly - he feel down very fast from 18m height. He went back on stage and he said the only thing he heard was his father's voice saying "Michael, don't disappoint the audience" BTW Kenny Ortega was responsible for this. He never apologized to Michael. After the concert, he broke down and was rushed to a hospital. He had very bad bruises and grazes.

@MJ777HealTheWorld tey said that he strained his back badly. Thats the cause for some of his back pain. PPl were telling me that it was just back pain but it was much more than that. Look at him when the boy gives the soldier a flower. He is wincing and rubbing his legs because they hurt.

huh! I don't see anything going wrong!! I see someone having dirty hands and making it go wrong! the way the brigde came down it was very fast! sort of like a ride at a fair.. Gosh, did he continue and sang as he was out of his body and didnt know..

He was such a professional...he hurt his back real bad when the bridge collapsed and he still kept singing even though everyone was telling him to stop becuse he needed to go to hospital...what a guy. If it were me, I would have screamed like hell on the way down and fainted hahaha.

I think the soldier guy forgot what he was supposed to be doing because he was worried about Michael. MIchael was like no keep going...it's hard to tell that its pain when he bends because he does that in sad songs, but you can tell at 8:47 his whole body is tense trying to withstand the pain.

I thought this was the accident that cracked a vertebra in his lower back.(?) The chest & ribs thing was when he slipped & fell against the toilet coming out of the shower; he talks about it in the Jessie Jackson radio interview I believe. That's why he showed up to court in his pj's...he really was in the hospital. He coughed up blood because he bruised a lung.

Wow my heart just sank. At 8:39 he was in so much pain! Omg I cannot stand watching Michael in pain. It hurts me so much. This man had to endure so much and he was so amazingly strong. The best entertainer EVER so professional; no one else could have went on with a busted up chest and sprained foot.

Michael was truly a consumated performer. Even after suffering such a bad fall, he continued to perform as if nothing happen. It's difficult to tell what went wrong just by viewing this clip. But, if you compare this to the same routine he performed just a couple days earlier in Seoul, you can clearly see the stunt in this performance went really bad. The bridge was not supposed to clash into the ground. Youtube Michael Jackson 1999 Seoul Earth Song and see it and compare!
