Sadly the bird did not survive. It's mother and sisters have been informed but his dad can not be tracked down. Unconfirmed reports state that his bird dad was flying with him at the time and was known to have been drinking heavily soon before the ill fated flight. R I P wee bird. Your dad was an ass-hole.

they were inspecting the brakes to make sure, they have not melted as well as damage to the engine while parking brakes were set. Left engine was still running at the time of inspection.

They make a visual inspection of the brakes not the confirm that the engine failure. The stopping of the aircraft with one engine, one reverse thrust and brakes do heat brakes. Fire from the engine and banging noises is confirmation enough that the engine is gone.

If you got Sucked into the Engine at full thrust the chance of you living is 0.There was a episode of Air Crash Investigation. Called Unlocking Disaster door opens in flight, 9 people get sucked out, and 1 man goes into the engine and Dies Istantly, after theres blood, Searches went on, And There were no traces of the 9 passengers bodies.
