Palin owns property in Wasilla and probably elsewhere in the area. Many rich ol' boys (politicians) in Alaska own property there. The property was bought-up in short time.

Campbell worked for the 2nd "bridge to nowhere" in Alaska.

Facts about this bridge:

-Bridge cost is $800 million (maintenance, planning, design, construction).

- Wasilla is a small town

- Commuters clog roads for 40 miles for 2-hours with their SUVs and trucks. Where do they come from? Largely Wasilla.

- Commuters want the average U.S. citizen to pay for their bridge.

- Commuters are offered mass transit, but do not want it. Why give up your SUV for a train?

I know Campbell too well: fast talking for a reason.

Why would anyone dimish the Guard? No one would. That is you talking Campbell.

Palin has never managed the day-to-day operations of the Guard, never. Palin has no power in deploying the guard overseas.

Campbell:

-has a history of quick promotions,

-is a master of deceit,

-stretches the truth about Palin since his next promotion depends on it,

-is in with the rich ol' boys of Alaska.

Let Palin speak of her own experience.

It does not matter her national security or or foriegn affairs experience because she has more experience than Obama in all area of excutive experience and he is running for President. She knows allot because she has dealt with many issues as a Mother, Pta, city council, 2term mayor making major changes, Governor with surplus budget under her. Our economy needs someone who can give America a surplus budget. She know what is needed when a bully enters the picture. She is especially all American.

Interestingly enough, Palin promoted him with his third star--to the rank of Lieutenant General--only three days later after the convention.

Essentially, Campbell had been unhelpful to the campaign at the very least. But all of a sudden he became one of Palin's biggest supporters. And he was then promoted to be one of the two highest-ranking state National Guard officials in the country.

Sarah Palin seems to have done what her job requires. I don't see that the media or anyone else has said anything to diminish what the National Guard does. I'm a 70 year old southern woman who views the Guard to be exceptional heroes in every job they've been asked to do at home or at war. Nothing can change my opinion of how great they are. I hate to see them used as pawns in politics, specifically, Palins' bid as VP.

McCain campaign may have just bought off Gen. Craig Campbell. Shameful.

Campbell Brown asked about Sarah Palin's foreign policy experience. Tucker Bounds response was that she had foreign policy experience deploying National Gaurd OVERSEAS. Sarah Palin had nothing to do with deploying National Gaurd overseas.

Deploying the National Guard domestically has nothing to do with foreign policy.
