  • lol... Won't argue with you... you are ignorant and stubborn.

  • the medical profession is so crooked... the medical schools purposefully keep incoming numbers low so they can have a choke hold on higher salary. you ever wonder why a doctor who spends 10 minutes with a health 20-something for an annual body checked can get paid $5,000? it's so ridiculous. Doctors are mostly made up of the greediest people ever, even worse than lawyers, because at least lawyers have to fight for their share of the pie? Doctors just let their low acceptance rates do that.

  • @dalecampbl7

your an idiot. 4 years undergrad + 4 years med school (200,000 in tuition costs) + 3 - 7 years residency getting payed 50k per year. doctors sacrifice so much, if they made any less than 120k per year after residency they wouldn't be able to pay their debt. Your clearly ignorant though, educate yourself before you start calling doctors "the most greedy people ever". tool.

  • it's the debt that makes them even greedier...don't argue w/me son...everyone knows i'm right....add in the insurance companies and drug manufacturers who pretty have such a market share, they can do what ever the hell they please and can heal or screw you...along w/doctors. that's a fucken fact...i don't care if doctors go throuhg many years of training...most of them are in it for money, we all know, but what makes them worse is they are supposed to HEAL people

  • @dalecampbl7

You're an uneducated fool. It's people like you who can't appreciate anything in this world. You have no idea what it means to work hard for something, and to commit to a life of service.

    Grow up.

  • you can argue all you want...my mom goes to the dentist ( not an MD, but close enough ), dentist tells my she needs procedures to pull our her teeth, my mom is thinking..."but my teeth have always been fine" and out of my family, my mom has the most beautiful teeth, so she refused. dentists like doctors are trained by insurnace companies to charge by the procedure, yup, lots and lots of procedures...who cares if your teeth are beautiful and nice...they'll talk u into pulling them, or try to.

  • @dalecampbl7 Your mom isn't a dentist (and for the record, general dentists are never MDs so the "close enough" quip confused me), therefore she has no idea of the medical implications that would make extraction necessary. Maybe she had an infection, maybe there was bone loss, maybe there were early signs of cancer. The point is, your mom is clueless, as are most patients.

That aside, you my friend need to be prescribed a huge mallet in order to pound some sense into that thick skull of yours.

  • @dalecampbl7 So what exactly is a "reasonable: amount? When did America stop being a culture in which we value hard work, education, and reward people who put that time and effort into accomplishing something, particularly while providing a service to the rest of society?

  • oh really? the AMA purposefully caps the number of med school students so they can create a short supply that will in turn charge more. Screw balls trying to throw your right wing righteousness into the working people's faces....not saying all doctors are bad, but the AMA does what it does, FOR 1 REASON and 1 REASON ONLY! Raise medical costs and maintain doctor's salaries. Though lawyers get crapped on by society, law schools surprisingly don't cap students.

  • @dalecampbl7 Your argument, by definition, is invalid because your assumption about the AMA is wrong. The AMA is merely an organization of physicians who advocate the art and science of medicine. The LCME is the actual body of accreditation that new medical schools must adhere to. Additionally, it is not the job of the LCME to "cap" the number of medical schools. That assumption as well as your first one is statistically false. *continued*

  • @dalecampbl7 In the last decade alone, we have seen the opening / propositioning of over 60 new M.D./D.O. schools. Oh, don't tell me you didn't know that D.O.'s are also licensed physicians that are allowed the unlimited practice of medicine in America too, right? Yeah, and they have their own medical schools, accrediting bodies, and also have plans of opening up new medical schools as well. I can name at least five new osteopathic schools from the top of my head.

    You're pretty much done.

  • @dalecampbl7 BUT since your just a person trying to educate me about my own profession, I'm here to educate you, not judge, so I'm just going to go ahead and say that you need to look for yourself where you get your information from. Fox News? CNN? Both incredibly biased on the political spectrum...obviously had *some* influence on you.

Read a book, learn how to check your sources. Your glaring misinformation not only hurts my brain, but I'm sure it hurts yours to know that you were wrong. :)

  • By the way, I'll tell you when America stopped valuing hard work, at least temporarily...it was when we bailed out CEOs of BIG BANKS with $700,000,000,000. Yup. I don't need news buddy...I'm a lawyer, I know how law schools work, they let anyone into some law school..but of course, u come out from a bottom school without hopes of a job. Med school is different, only lke what 40% make it in? That's a good deal if u can make it in. But why not let it loose like law schools?

  • @dalecampbl7 You're not following the thread of the conversation anymore, considering you've completely ignored what I said about medical schools. Now I'm bored. You may want to try dealing with people more on your level, just a thought.

  • of course, my friend, pulling fine beautiful healthy teeth doesn't kill you necessarily or make you sick, but think of all the other opporutnities for these guys to run up unnecessary procedures...now I won't say doctors are in 100% of things, but how the hell did the insurance companies become so successful at rationing health care if doctors didn't go alone? I dont see doctors protesting insurance...do yOU!??!??!!?

  • @dalecampbl7 Your kind of bullshit, though, is why everyone thinks doctors are greedy and overpaid. Some political morons spouting nonsense about the profession. Oh yeah, and we should all be paid "a reasonable amount" for the work we do. What is that exactly? What is a reasonable amount to make for someone who worked anywhere from 11 to 15+ years of their lives training to do a job, acquiring enormous debt along the way, and let's not forget the liability incurred during medical practice.

  • @Alias1EE7 You're* or you are*.

  • she just......vanished

  • No offense to UW MED, but their whole "rural community" commercial is complete bullshit. Most graduates go into specialties (and then sub-specialties) other than family medicine.

Most med schools have some sort of community based mission statement which is completely obliterated when students realize they could make 2X salary in a specialty field.

  • I live I michigan and of course university of michigan is a great option but I am also totally going to apply to UW. Thanks 4 the video.
