i think tien is strong as a saiyan(he fight againts the androids perty well) he lost only cause hi get hited in the water and trunks was in between ssj1 and ssj2 (long hair trunks is stronger)

I think piccolo is way far stronger than tien, since he fused himself with nail and kami. It can be proven by the fact that he could fight at the same level as freza second form and android 17, which tien could not.

@DrewTH1 Yeah. We used to have strategy. The Drunken Boxy Technique, After Image and Roshi's Lightning Surprise were great techniques. Tien growing multiple arms and growing arms out of his body was great.

If I made the show I would've gave Tien some kind of transformation or something so he wouldnt be left behind. Take it this way - it was a film of the series, which each one of them (excluding the two specials) are really flawed in terms of power levels, story with the series etc. Seems more made for the children audience by showing off random things like that to make it seem more dramatic.. when it doesn't make sense lol. So best not to take it as linked to the series =P found that helps explain it for me anyway.

@Zerololz Correct, and the term you are describing is "non-canon". It's when the events of one thing, such as a DBZ movie, take place outside the continuity of the "real" DBZ universe. The movies are just pretend, what-if stories.
