I agree with Zodia, Sun has the stronger voice to take this song just a bit farther than Lunar could. Her strong voice fits the lyrics more. But this doesnt mean that Lunar's version is worse, I think they are both equally good.

Well, the softness isn't really an issue. the person at the sound board messed that up. the main reason is Sun's voice sound is deeper and sounds more mature than Lunar. Therefore, should take the lead. if you put a new singer next to a seasoned singer, especially if the age difference is big, almost always the more mature voice will win. nobody will take a high pitched, whinny voice over a well balanced one

Somehow I think it's better in combination. With San it almost feels like she overpowers the song. While Runa might go a little too softly with it. Personally it feels better when they pull the two sides in. But not either do badly on their own so it's good.

Sun voice is better fit to be the lead singer, Lunar voice is too soft to be the lead singer, but it's softness is it's strenght, it's an invaluable role in the background, that's why naturally Sun songs sound better on their own, since her voice is better suited for the task, and Lunar songs sound too soft.

Just because one is better suited to be the lead singer and the other is better to give the songs that "magical echo" it doesn't mean one is better than the other, they are different

Sun's version is like a war drum giving courage to the warriors during before and during battle. Lunar's is like more like a lullaby that soothes one after a long battle is fought. That's just my opinion.
