@bigsmittyfan that's because recording technology was not so advanced than it is today what with stuff like auto-tune and drum machines which sound so fake, so back then even the teen idols had to have some talent and originality. Good to see someone appreciating 70's music at your age - believe me you are not alone, there are a number of other teens who feel the same way that you do.
