Sorry about your luck. My Arcas didn't deploy its chute either, but it came in sideways. On concrete. Surprisingly, it wasn't totally destroyed and the camera survived. The body tubes are waaaaay too tight.
I just built a G-Force over the weekend, nice loose body tubes so that won't be a problem. I'm going to sand down the Arcas connector tube and try and fly it again after I rebuild a fin for it.
