  • I played this in Church and i'm 13! Perfect!

  • It made me cry thinking about how He died for all of us worthless sinners. I pray that if you haven't been saved that you do so. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son. To die for all of your sins. I am only 16 years old so don't worry it is never to early or to late to accept Him in to your life! God bless you all.

  • 6 people are not rejoicing. :-)

  • @jadajadee Who can dislike this ? I pray for them.

  • This text is so strong. I am a personal Christian myself. Jesus pardoned us all.

  • i am gonna sing the at my church next sunday after my babtism

  • this is the man who knew everything about my past...but he forgave me

the vilest offender who truly believe, that moment from Jesus a pardon recieves, no sin is greater than the saving power of the blood of Jesus Christ!

  • love these words ...music to my ears.....the vilest offender that truly believes that moment from jesus a pardon receives........there is no one too great a sinner that cant be saved.....if he believes......wow too big for words

  • Does anyone have the sheet music for this? I'd like to cross-stitch it and hang it in my house.

  • Terpujilah Allah hikmatNya besar...

    Selamat hari Minggu semuanya....

  • I live in a town where 70% of people are Christians.Just a few years back, when the people are not so rich. this song serves as a reminder about all great and beautiful things that God hath done. But suddenly now, with most people become so well of , they wanted to become politically correct always. And they forget to give Glory to God. I am afraid what things awaited us if we continue this path.

  • @dosia1412 It is because we are at the end times and hearts are turning away from God...it is so sad!

  • Respond to this video... Fabulous video! Love this hymn!

  • I woke up this AM with this song in my heart. Has God ever put a song in your heart?

  • @padreallenp me too, today this morning!

  • There's nothing more nostalgic for me than hearing a congregation sing this. Thanks.

  • Great song!Oh, thank you for posting this, and PLEASE keep young hispanics in your prayers! God bless you all abundantly.

  • Wonderful video!! Praise the Almighty God!!

  • To me the most moving part of this hymn is "The vilest offender who truly believes,

that moment from Jesus a pardon receives". That was me, that vile offender whom Jesus has pardoned.

  • Me too! And not only does He pardon us, he also destroys the evidence that convicted us!

  • Believe me, it was not you (the vile offender). It is ME.

  • It's because of the cross of Calvary- it was God himself who took your place on that cross because of His infinite love for you. As Paul said, there is therefore now no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus..(Romans 8:1). Our death sentences are gone- Jesus declared us not guilty and we are free!

  • @jonparreno

I tried to post comments about the message of salvation on Muslim Salafi Wahhabi videos about jinns, hell, jannah, Adam and Eve, Messengers of God, etc. only to be blocked.

It just breaks my heart how much the Muslims hate Jesus Christ and the beautiful words expressed in this hymn of faith about salvation. They could be born-again! No more being tied in to traditions of men but FREE! to live a life of discipleship and obedience. No more fear but love, peace, and a sound mind.

  • @dakotagerman1 It is indeed sad- the Jews, Muslims, and Christians come from the same roots- Abraham. But as the book of Hebrews says, Abraham "believed God", and it was "credited to him as righteousness". Not byappeasing God through good works and traditions or appeasing God by being a martyr for Allah) who by the way, according to Muslims, is a God of vegeance and retribution, and not of mercy- which is true of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen!

  • @jonparreno

If Islam takes over the whole of Christian Europe and North America, we need to be steadfast in the faith. We must refuse to convert to Islam.

We stand pat with Jesus and refuse to convert to Islam!

  • @dakotagerman1 We should be converting Muslims to real Christianity- which is not only a set of beliefs, but one's personal and saving relationship with Christ..Muslims have a different world-view although they may use some words we use but with different meaning. Unles the church in America stop being provincial and insular, only time will tell. If they can't conquer the world through violence, Muslims are determined to takeover by population just like what's happening in Europe today.

  • Cint.Evang.(BCB)-751,"Slavit fii Isuse,ca lucruri mari faci!"

  • Ezra 3:11

And they sang together by course in praising and giving thanks unto the LORD; because he is good, for his mercy endureth for ever toward Israel. And all the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the LORD, because the foundation of the house of the LORD was laid.

  • simply marvelous.esp. the part "great things he has taught us".Does it get any better than this?

to be taught by the Master Himself.

  • @stoper43 'Oh perfect redemption'...

Does it get any better? NO!!! Not until we are there!

  • @stoper43 it's truly a blessing that all of us were chosen by God to live in the beautiful world he created. No matter the tribulations and sufferings we go through, our lives are the greatest gift He has given us. Praise the Lord!

  • Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!

Let the earth hear His voice!

Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!

    Let the people rejoice!

O come to the Father, through Jesus the Son:

and give Him the glory! Great things He hath done!

  • Praise TO the Lord JESUS OUR LORD AMEN

  • god bless u al

  • Can somebody send this hymn to me? "Oh how He loves me, Oh how He loves me, I know not why, I only cry, oh how, how He loves me" I cannot find it anywhere online, thanks a lot and God Bless!

  • Let us praise Him every day; He's worth!

  • key of Bb for trumpet

  • i love this beautiful hymn

  • Correction with the lyrics. The last line is supposed to be "Our wonder, our TRANSPORT, when Jesus we see." (not rapture)

  • It is actually rapture, or so it is in nearly every Anglican hymn book.

  • @sfm205 The hymn was composed by Fanny Crosby (1820-1915) and she actually wrote transport . I'm not sure what "transport" means when used in this context.

  • @942186 : It means to be completely overjoyed, overwhelmed by happiness etc.

  • @942186 See definition #2 below:

    Transport

    TRANSITIVE VERB:

    trans·port·ed, trans·port·ing, trans·ports

    (1) To carry from one place to another; convey. See Synonyms at convey.

    (2) To move to strong emotion; carry away; enrapture. See Synonyms at enrapture.

    (2) To send abroad to a penal colony; deport. See Synonyms at banish.

  • Praise the King Almighty for all He has done for mankind... It blows my mind to think of the pain and suffering the Jesus went through on the cross so that all of us could have eternal life and live in a perfect place that the Father has set up for us... if only we believe :) Thank you Jesus...

  • luvly

  • the best hymn of all time love it

  • key of Bb for trumpet

  • AMEN

  • XD! We had to do this song at a vacation bible camp I was at , the theme was Sarangetti Trek

  • Awesome, one of my favorite hymns.

  • I get all choked up where it says "The vilest offender who truly believes; That moment from Jesus a pardon receives"

    That's how good God is.

  • AMEN

  • @workingclasstheist That line right there did it for me. We sing this in church ALL the time...but today that line just sank in to me. Our God really is a forgiving God. Like the father in the Prodigal Son, he waits for those who deny him to come back to him. Like Jesus said...there is no greater joy in heaven than when one turns back to God. Amazing he is.

  • i sing this every other week at church and then hum it all week.

  • i love this song i've sang this song in the church with my school friends

  • Awesome inspiring cool song

  • That is a wonderful hymn. Thank you for singing all three verses! Each verse tells a part of the Good News.
