@jl0uise I have very curly hair that was always very frizzy and even as a hairstylist it took awhile for me to find the right product! I use PAUL MITCHELL "Round Trip" in combination with PAUL MITCHELL "Quick Slip".while my hair is still damp, I pump 2 squirts or round trip into my palm and 1 squirt of quick slip on top of that. I rub it together, turn my head upside down and apply the same as you would mousse. many people diffuse their curls but i generally allow mine to air dry. Quick & Simple

@demirocks1231 if ur hair is long enough, after you wash it, put some styling oil through it (without breaking too much of the curls) then, braid it into two pontytails. you can put some anti-frizz spray on it if ur hair gets really frizzy. sleep on it. wake up the next morning (check if ur hair is dry) and unbraid it. it should have the hold hairstyle all day! hope that helps!

@Jessbetina don't do it! i thought my hair (used to be down to waist) would look really great and different short, like a cute little curly bob - but its so, so difficult to manage, goes frizzy easier and always needs product to tame it. its grown out now thank god, to about my collar bone and i love it that length, so i'd try that before doing anything as drastic as i did xx

She swayed me against the bob, and cut it to shoulder length in the back and jawline in the front. It looks amazing and it was a relief from the Texas heat. @lemmingluv4525 getting your hair cut in layers should help some. you can also use those little metal clips sideways at the roots while your hair is drying...

@lemmingluv4525 I had the same problem. I found that having a hairstylist who knew specifically how curly hair behaves when cut was the answer. Basically, having someone balance your curls properly will lighten the weight of each curl, thus allowing your hair to spring up more giving it more volume. The heavier your curls, the more it will pull at the roots. My hairstylist cuts my curls on a diagonal angle, so I keep the length, but each curl has less hair (i.e. less weight) so more volume!

Can I just say that anything CurlyGirlie does to her hair will look amazing. A. because she is gorgeous and her features will look good no matter what she does with her hair (yeah I'm jealous lol). @cheerisawesome123 curly hair is NOT supposed to be brushed because it takes away the natural pattern of the curls and your left with a mini afro. It's better to when your in the shower when your hair is wet with conditioner, comb out your hair with a comb from the ends first and work up to the scalp. Certain brushes, the regular ones, break off your hair when its wet because curly hair is fragile when wet so really brushing curly hair is not the best thing to do. I hope this did help alot! xoxo

@jl0uise I have the same problem. I use mixedchicks leave in conditioner when my hair is wet. If i want less frizz, i will not blow dry or even touch my hair until it is dry. When it is completely dry, i will then separate some of the curls and fluff it up a little. Most of the time, I don't mind the frizz though
