Lol- so I had to look up what Rick Astley looked like- couldn't remember- and I DO kinda look like the guy- I was cryin' laughing watching one of his old music videos. Good call. As for hanging this thing- the plywood sides simply saddle up against the sides of the joists/rafters (pre-measure for width/fit)- and I screwed into those joists from the interior of the bunk with many large hex-head screws. -Deek

i like the idea, but i am not sure i am all that trusting of your design, i would make it so that your had a much larger area transferring the weight of the occupant to the plywood. i am not all that trusting of just screwing into the ends of the wood like that, or at least that's what it looked like to me. but kudos for the idea.
