The Obama loving followers here demonstrate ignorance of reality, repetition of propaganda, blind faith and a willingness to relinquish personal responsibility and freedom to a controlling, arrogant autocrat. When Obama isn't outright lying, he's misrepresenting facts and distorting truth. That and voter Ignorance put the man in office. Respect does not simply accompany a title, it is earned.
his hole speech was a big contradiction... less government but more government and ect...just more promises that he won't keep..he campaigned to bring troops home but waits until the election year to bring them home..I can go on and on to what he has not done!
He looked me right in the eyes , and told me he wouldn't arrest Medical Marijuana user, but he did. He looked me in the eyes, and told me he would bring our troops home, but they are still in that shit hole. He swore an oath to uphold, and defend the constitution, but he signed the NDAA. This man is a lire an an oath breaker, and what I would like to call a traitor. Take it from an Army veteran "with a birth certificate" Vote Ron Paul 2012!! Like I did in 2008 he is the only choice for America.
I have seen a dozen presidents come and go in my lifetime and not one of those have had to deal with 2 wars and a failing economy at the same time the minute he stepped into office I may not agree with his policy but as presedent of the united states he deserves our respect if nothing else. And by the way it took 10 years after the stock market crash of 1929 and the great depression that followed for the U.S. to recover
we are the youth and future of this nation. What will you do and change in yourself to make the world a better place to live. If we or other U.S. presidents do not change as people and look at the world as equal rights laws etc then this nation is in trouble. President Obama aspiration and determination is something this country needs. I really hope that if he does't get re-elected that the next president will have the same ambitions as well.
Remember a country that loses trust, faith, and uses hate and other difference's to determine the cause for our problems as a nation is a country that will fall. I really hope that we stay on top but the way this nation and people have become I'm getting somewhat worried on where this country will be in 20 years. Will America still be on top in 20 years? What will America be like for our children? If we don't band together and work as a team then were going to be in more crap then we are now
half obamas term hes been fighting off jackals, wanting to kick him in the shins every turn that he makes.I'm surprised taht he even wants the dam job anymore. Just because obama is different people want to point fingers and blame him for the problems. If it were BUSH or another white republican he would be a hero and your mouth would be closed. I mean give the man a chance. But anyway vote for you magic button and the next state of the union address you'll see so get use to it.
well if you think the republican candidates have tricks up their sleeves or whatever then in 2016 you'll be saying the same crap you speaking now. How in the hell do you expect one man to change everything in four years. Instead of wasting money and time on a presidential elections for a man to take the efn job Obama just got fck it go head do it. Congress needs to extend terms to 6 or 8 years so he or any other president can put his policies into effect.
will happen. Teamwork is what our nation was built on. We cant afford another candidate to destroy what we have worked and strived for; like more jobs etc. We have to keep our country strong in every aspect and make sure that our country stays on top in the future. I hope that we can put our differences aside and work together to achieve greatness. Obama for president because Obama does care and the nation will see.
but who doesn't. I don't know if all the hate is a black or white thing or whatever the situation may be, but he has done the best anyone could do. Obama inherited a nations past problems that were to extreme for anyone to handle in four years. Obama is our voice for this country and I will stand up and support him no matter what the circumstances are. Obama is leading our nation back to what we were and always will be #1 in everything. Like he said if we all work together for change then change
Obama has changed our country for the better, but if we break his momentum were only going to hurt ourselves in the long run. Change will not happen over night, it's going to take years to get our economy back to its peak. If we let another typical asshole, like Bush, or another white stuck up rich boy run this country were fucked. (excuse my french) I have never seen a president receive as much disrespect as Obama has taken from the citizens of America. Has Obama made some mistakes, yes,
@stephenpoirier huh? your comment makes no sense and your the idiot - I mentioned nothing about Bush and do you mean Obama is like Bush? because he's not and if he was things would have been much worse than they are now.
Are you on drugs or something? your mind is not ok
I'm a Independant - at first I supported Obma because he wanted change for a better America and a lot of people voted him for this reason but as everyone could see America is worse: people are still unemployed, they are still loosing their homes and education - forget about it, we have no educational system here in America. Students go to school and learn nothing. People (including me) are living in lower standards than before.
Whatever Obama does now he's not getting my vote this year.
@canonlaunch: I know what you mean. But it is hard to change the structure in place. The US economy is still based on the last Cold War. You also have the lobbyist who will oppose any major changes required to help the people and the economy. One good example are the HMOs.
The end of the day United States are being controlled by Corporations. They are the one who screwed up the economy, but the american people are paying for it. I am afraid four years is not enough.
Im a republican and i havent liked obama from the moment he stepped foot into office. I sit by and watch all of these debates with all these terrible GOP candidates and i sit here and wonder..."who do i vote for? none of them are presidential material...". Obamas slogan when he ran in 2008..."we need change!" He addressed what needed to be changed for the past 4 years. now? 2012 - "we can do it!" because hes right!!! WE CAN!!! im blown away by his speech and he won my vote for 2012 - LETS DO IT!
Actions speak louder then words. Take a look at his track record. It's pretty scarey. Unemployment higher than its ever been, freedom being stripped from every American, and the middle class is nonexistent. Worst. President. Ever. As the biggest support of him in 2008 I realize he is just one big liar. RP 2012
@AustinS2508 dont forget, we live in america...not soviet russia. Its very difficult for our type of government to control the economy. big business's getting greedy and not creating jobs is the business's fault, not the government. think about it...u work in a mcdonalds making 7 dollars an hour, and your boss decides to let you go because he wants to put his kid through college and cant keep paying you. colleges decided to raise tuition...none of it geing the governments fault, justcorporation
@adamdavidsson ^^^^^ FYI - this isnt up for debate^^^^ i want no comments saying that im retarded and that im non-american or what ever bullshit you keyboard warriors like to say. its my opinion and im entitled to it just like everyone else in our free country.
@benirify as previously stated...my opinion is not up for discussion but ill make this an exception by asking you a question my keyboard soldier - Can you please point out a republican candidate that appears to be "somewhat" presidential material? One that doesnt say things to just be elected into office and once hes in office, takes all the garbage he says during his campaign and shoves it? Obama had to clean up bush's mess...and still is....
Obama said those things yes, but it's election year. Politicians will say just about anything dude. Oh yeah and he increased my taxes! I'm pissed! I can't pay these taxes literally.....
Obama is the biggest crony capitalist we have ever had in the WhiteHouse Solyndra, GE, the missuse of stimulus money, stealing GM investments from retirees in favor of Union fat cats, throwing American money at Brazil for oil exploration so they can sell the oil to China and enrich his buddy Soros, his biggest supporters are all buying favors. Get informed.
can we really trust him again? yeah he says the truth, but its a smoke screen for his next 4 years, he said alot of the same stuff earlier and did NOTHING. he is an amazing speaker, but he is still a liar. its sad.
From a liberal and Obama supporter (me) to you, I thank you for spreading the word about the responsibility we Americans share, and have shirked too long to be involved in what our govt does, to own our own country, to curb the disproportionate influence of lobbyists and corporations, to talk with each other and remember what democratic self-governance really means!
Whether you're a friend or foe of Obama, you're clearly a friend and a responsible citizen of the USA!
dcs002, From one American to another. Thank you very much for your words. It has been so long since I have heard a honest and truthful compliment not filled with partition insults. So now let us all, AMERICA, work together to get back and then keep our country the America we love.
I entirely agree. it's not big government spending and programs that should fix our country, its responsible and truely american action that would best solve the problem. Its the cheapest way, the most efficient way, the most moral way, and the most American way, in my opinion.
Obama seems like the only candidate who knows his stuff. My vote goes to Obama
