    P.S jerk is done in a pit; pimiento wood on top coal underneath.the meat is mostly smoke and slow cooked.the real flavor come from the pimiento wood and leafs

  • man you have to change your cooking hygiene. you used your finger to wipe the jar of molasses and put it back into the jar? do you know how many germs are on your hands?? i also saw you use an oven mitt to turn your roasted chicken. unless youre washing those mitts after every use, theyre going to be covered in funk.

  • I see your point, but here's my suggestion. Try her recipe, use your own standards for hygiene in your own kitchen. Happy cooking!  :-)

  • Cancel the rosemary, Cancel the ginger, add thyme, add sage, add sugar, add a clove of garlic, add a whole onion, double the vinegar, add soy sauce add some orange juice. i like the molasses idea though.

  • The lid is stuck because it's a molasses jar. She can hit the table with it as many times as she likes it won't do anything.

    Maria, next time just place the jar under running hot water for 5-10 seconds it will make the molasses on the lid melt! :)
