  • This is the most powerful piece of music for me. 10 minutes into the original tune and like, 4 minutes into this, it's amazing to see it live on camera, well done for filming this, thank you!

  • Check this out. This is a video of the song they played just before this one but from a different angel. Yndi Halda is beyond amazing...

  • Everyone should be going crazy :p

  • I just discovered these guys in the last 20 minutes. I was watching some video about the illuminati and illuminate my heart was the soundtrack. man am I glad I found these guys. This song is epic, pure and simple.

  • 4:45 Hi Mum!

  • I would kill to see these guys live. I hope they make it to the US some time.

  • I was here, and not from a dissimilar angle to you it seems! you wouldent be the person who turend around and told me and my friend to stop chatting before they started would you? :P

  • @Iluvtogekiss Nope. I was the person who got told off for using his camera. Not before I got this footage. :D

  • the have so much energy when they play

  • This is composed and played to perfectly. This is one of my favourite songs of all time (the long one). Amazing! 4:11 always gives me goosebumps, and I always hold my breath just before it comes to the big finish.

  • Damn good band. WTF? With the crowd. How they can get no excited?!

  • Shame they played a shortened version

  • nice music men... regards from venezuela..

  • Deaf audience?

  • when i first heard of yndi halda, i thought it was just a composer who happened to be a genious in music. When i saw that yndi halda was simply a band of 5 young members -which formed when they were at school!) i was really surprised! it is so good to see young people making masterpieces (i cant consider their music as anything less!)like these. and i like them even more when seeing them enjoying so much playing their own music! hope they keep up the good work. cant wait for their next album!!!

  • Every time I watch this I grow to hate the crowd a little more.

  • I love YH!

  • this isn't post rock. that is an imaginary hipster term. this is beautiful music. thank you for the post i got goosebumps. :)

  • @zinxderobo Aren't the majority of music genres these days just 'hipster terms'?! Anyway, it is beautiful music, thanks for the thanks. :-)

  • @zinxderobo I call it post-rock and I don't like to be referred to as 'hipster'. I use the word with respect,

  • @zinxderobo Uhmm PR has been around for longer than hipsters :P

  • 4:10 .... i can't believe no one is even bobbing their head, i would totally be freaking out if i got the chance to see them.

  • why are people sitting?:D

  • @Oeszilee If they stood up they probably would've been chucked out. I was told not to use my camera which was oppressively harsh considering Yndi Halda seem to be pretty positive about people filming at their gigs (they even asked me to send them footage).

  • @TheAlexH ic. thanks for recording and sharing

  • @TheAlexH sounds like a rather shitty venue...

  • @wayfechylde3 The Barbican is normally used for more semi theatrical bits and pieces. Not specifically music. Much more formal than many venues. Its actually a really awesome place!

  • @Iluvtogekiss thats pretty neat, actually. dont see those types of multi-use venues too often.

  • @Oeszilee

too many open wounds...aren't modern societies great?(sorry, i just puked)

    But these guys are fantastic

  • TOP FUCKING PERCENTAGE

  • Amazing.

This will sound totally cheesy, but the whole of 'Enjoy Eternal Bliss' is like some sort of musical journey you go on for an hour and when it's finished your spirits are lifted and you feel better somehow.

Yes, that did sound cheesy lol sorry.

  • Hehe, I see where you're coming from. There's an album called Ghost is Not Real by Husky Rescue that I feel similar about, from about the fourth song in it's just continuous bliss.

  • @Kardinalsyn1 sounds cheesy but it's completely true!

  • they're doing different proyects now i've heard... don't know if it's true...

  • @sigurros16 They are, but there will still be a new Yndi Halda album, they're just taking their time! I hope it comes out this year.

  • Probably my favorite post-rock band, and one of my favorite bands. Amazing stuff.

  • thats THE worst crowd i've ever seen

  • Why? Because they weren't shouting over the music the whole time? There's a bit of a difference between a "crowd" and an "audience". It feels more like a classical concert to me, and I dig it. I don't go to concerts to see/hear/get-shoved-around-by a crowd.

I'm sure everyone in that room fully appreciates how badass this is.

  • i agree, although bands sometimes feed of the energy of the crowd it's sometimes a bit much. like when the crowds singing drowns the bands own music.

such a piss off, but i like this, im sure everyone was going crazy in their heads!

  • hear, hear

  • You can definitely tell it's more like a concert audience, they wait until the very last harmonic has finished to start their applause!

  • this is not the kind of band where you go to mosh and trash over.. this is the kind of band you go watch, listen and appreciate.

  • The climax makes me wnat to move pretty much the same way they do xD I feel like jumping around and wave with my arms :D

  • Can anyone else detect "God Speed you Black Emperor" influences? This song is amazing

  • i can :) amazing bandssss

  • man what an awesome song, but anyone notice how crazy the gituar guy went during 4:12 man i had to lol

  • This is music worth crying to. I wouldnt be able to stand still during this, especially not during the climax.

  • this might just be their best song. i love the climax (shame you didn't record the first 5-6 minutes)

    i wish i was there...

  • So glad I've found these guys.

  • @ narziss: there are many statues here, in rock bars of Turkey. They just stand there, arms crossed.

    Wassup man?!

  • I went to an explosions in the sky concert and everyone stood perfectly still for the 2 hours. It was ridiculous. How does this music not inspire you to jump around or at least sway, and violently (during the climaxes).

  • It's clearly NOT the usual rock, or, heavy metal kind of thing.

And besides, this type of music can easily have a different emotional impact on most people than what you think.

  • How old are these guys, about 19?

  • Early 20s I think. I remember reading they were about 17 when they wrote Enjoy Eternal Bliss.

  • Comment removed

  • /would have been absolutely ape shit during this

  • great one mate

  • They all look so young in this band.

  • Bricks were shat at 4:10

  • this band is pretty much up there on a par with GY!BE imo.. ..too bad they only had like 1 album

  • There's a new album due out next year. :-)

  • probably one of the best songs in rock history... and the best fragment, also...

  • 4.15 that guitar is crazy..

  • holy crap what a shit crowd... I would have been going nuts from about 3:40 onwards...

  • Although there were a lot of YH fans there they weren't the headline band, and in my experience people don't seem to do much at these sit-down gigs - I seem to remember the crowd were appreciative. I like to nod my head along and it would be good to see more people doing the same...

  • Some people just like to listen to music.

  • shut the fuck up. this would be called "music" in its most pure form.

  • mfg.

  • best song..... worst crowd

  • oh man.

  • 4:05 aaaaah. that violinist is so amazingly good.

  • anyone know where can i get this awsome song in mp3?

  • I hope they will come to Greece =)

  • i'm looking for yndu halda guitar tabs please hellp me!!

  • This band is so epic with their creations its such a downer to see these people not be so influenced by their wonderful music.

  • wooow, that crowd is DEAD.

But this is one of my favorites.

  • This is beautiful!

  • I wish I'll hear this song first time while rolling, it will be epic

  • wow. I'm speechless.

  • holy shit...4:09

  • i love this band is amazing! = godspeed!

  • one of the best moments in music is when this song comes in!

  • my old account

    v v v v =]

  • oh my god.

    4:11 is amazing.

  • really amazing

  • Crackin tune!
