This is the most powerful piece of music for me. 10 minutes into the original tune and like, 4 minutes into this, it's amazing to see it live on camera, well done for filming this, thank you!
I just discovered these guys in the last 20 minutes. I was watching some video about the illuminati and illuminate my heart was the soundtrack. man am I glad I found these guys. This song is epic, pure and simple.
I was here, and not from a dissimilar angle to you it seems! you wouldent be the person who turend around and told me and my friend to stop chatting before they started would you? :P
This is composed and played to perfectly. This is one of my favourite songs of all time (the long one). Amazing! 4:11 always gives me goosebumps, and I always hold my breath just before it comes to the big finish.
when i first heard of yndi halda, i thought it was just a composer who happened to be a genious in music. When i saw that yndi halda was simply a band of 5 young members -which formed when they were at school!) i was really surprised! it is so good to see young people making masterpieces (i cant consider their music as anything less!)like these. and i like them even more when seeing them enjoying so much playing their own music! hope they keep up the good work. cant wait for their next album!!!
@Oeszilee If they stood up they probably would've been chucked out. I was told not to use my camera which was oppressively harsh considering Yndi Halda seem to be pretty positive about people filming at their gigs (they even asked me to send them footage).
@wayfechylde3 The Barbican is normally used for more semi theatrical bits and pieces. Not specifically music. Much more formal than many venues. Its actually a really awesome place!
This will sound totally cheesy, but the whole of 'Enjoy Eternal Bliss' is like some sort of musical journey you go on for an hour and when it's finished your spirits are lifted and you feel better somehow.
Hehe, I see where you're coming from. There's an album called Ghost is Not Real by Husky Rescue that I feel similar about, from about the fourth song in it's just continuous bliss.
Why? Because they weren't shouting over the music the whole time? There's a bit of a difference between a "crowd" and an "audience". It feels more like a classical concert to me, and I dig it. I don't go to concerts to see/hear/get-shoved-around-by a crowd.
I'm sure everyone in that room fully appreciates how badass this is.
I went to an explosions in the sky concert and everyone stood perfectly still for the 2 hours. It was ridiculous. How does this music not inspire you to jump around or at least sway, and violently (during the climaxes).
Although there were a lot of YH fans there they weren't the headline band, and in my experience people don't seem to do much at these sit-down gigs - I seem to remember the crowd were appreciative. I like to nod my head along and it would be good to see more people doing the same...

@zinxderobo I call it post-rock and I don't like to be referred to as 'hipster'. I use the word with respect,

i agree, although bands sometimes feed of the energy of the crowd it's sometimes a bit much. like when the crowds singing drowns the bands own music.
such a piss off, but i like this, im sure everyone was going crazy in their heads!

You can definitely tell it's more like a concert audience, they wait until the very last harmonic has finished to start their applause!

this is not the kind of band where you go to mosh and trash over.. this is the kind of band you go watch, listen and appreciate.

It's clearly NOT the usual rock, or, heavy metal kind of thing.
And besides, this type of music can easily have a different emotional impact on most people than what you think.
