Thanks for the quick reply. I also have wireles super fast DSL and i am right now doing this but my HD movie looks like crap(480p). Is there a way to select the streaming speed? If so could you tell me the steps? I know if I press the 'select' button it tells you the bit speed but how can I change from 480 to 1080?

Do you have your ps3 conected wirelesly or with a cable to the Internet?

wireless. I rented a movie from the PS3 store and it took about 25 minutes to download enough to create a decent buffer.
