  • I'm sorry to say, but the federal govt. is the BEST THING that has EVER happened to America. There was terribly slow growth, laws prohibiting people from moving around, all kinds of sinister political figures that basically blackmailed local business owners for money. No, the fed govt is a great overseer and ensures states don't do damn near well whatever the Hell they feel like doing.

For instance, look at my comment under rommelspain for an example of a problem between Tennessee and Georgia.

  • @TheAskMegChannel Yes, it's great when the Feds ban raw milk, or bomb children with our tax money or regulate the amount of water our toilets can flush. It's great to be totally ruled over and regulated by an increasingly totalitarian welfare-warfare state.

  • My God. Redshirtarmy, you are a champion.

  • @JesusDillinger Thanks there buddy!

  • good lord, you south like thomas jefferson with all that metaphorical slavery slavery, government tyranny talk. honestly, as a history major, your views remind of of the type of talk we heard from the Federalist party long ago.

  • its too hot down south... 90 degges all the time I can tell less your on th east coset.

  • nice flag behind i know very whel this

  • Thanks, nice avatar.

  • god blees the south

  • @rommelspain About 3 yrs ago Atlanta asked Georgia state gov to find new water resources. Georgia state govt started pressuring Tennessee to let them tap into the Tennessee river south of Chattanooga. TN said "NO".

GA then dug out a nearly Civil-War era map & claimed that Chattanooga (which has ALWAYS, _ALWAYS_ been a part of TN) was partially in GA territory at the time the map wad drawn. Hogwash! So GA threatened to take TN to federal court (existing today, not long ago) over the issue.

  • Thank you very much. Where I move is revolved around which police force is hiring. However it is more then likely in the South Florida Area ( Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, West Palm Beach). Protecting Dixie is going to be a great honor.

  • When I was little we still had some 'peace officers' left, though most were gone by my time. Today my town and most of the South is sadly full of 'law enforcement types' who are more about enforcing bad laws than keeping the peace and truly serving the people. I think being a 'peace officer' is a noble thing. However, I must say that I'm sick and tired of the 'law enforcement' types. Since you believe in limited gov't, I hope you are of the 'peace officer' variety. We could use more of those.

  • @IslandersMets10 So if there was no fed govt, don't you think GA could have sent troops/militia to TN to get them to 'settle' on letting them have that Tennessee river water? Yes! Guns solve problems. Not with a federal govt in place.

Google on "tennessee georgia water war" to see I am telling the truth.

We need SMALLER Fed govt, but very small govt. would lead to problems.

America does NOT need any state wars.

  • hey Mr. RedShirt Army. I'm a native born New Yorker, moving down to Dixie soon (Florida). I love the south. The south has given me a sense of home and belonging. I can not wait to move down to FL. I dream of an Independent south, with limited federal government. I hate having my hard earned dolars stolen by the FEDs. Long Live the South

  • Sounds like you'll fit right in. I wish all the folks moving to the South had similar views. You might want to check out the League of the South if you are moving to Tallahasee or Jacksonville. In the Tampa area the Sons of Confederate Veterans are quite active. And there are things going on in other areas as well. I'm sure they would welcome you and be glad for the help. Take it easy and good luck with the move.

  • @RedShirtArmy i'm sorry to be a PRICK but put this into your web browser.

Now if these two states decided to go to war, you think that would be allowed in a modern federal system? Hellllll No! So thanks to the fed govt being the big, bad system it is, we avoid such trivial problems. As inter-border warfare. Ain't modern govt. just cool?

  • @TheAskMegChannel You suggest that "war between the states" is prevented by the D.C. gang. I take it the irony escapes you.

  • true, they also view the amendment process as a tool to impose restrictions on regular people. its supposed to be a tool of the peple to add restrictions onto the government

  • The federal government has failed the people it was meant to serve. The way I see it, secession is the only way. We have a government who now views the Bill of Rights as something that isn't a granted right, but only a privilege.

  • We need to secede right now before it is too late.

  • The Federal Government did not create the States; the States created the Federal Government to serve them, not to rule over them!

    Deo Vindice!

  • The feds are a corporation. What I would love to see would be a return to something like the articles of confederation come back. I think that would be a very good form of government for the new south.

  • Goverment is a corporation.

  • The gov't doesn't operate like a free market business. Rather, it steals from people and operates a monopoly of 'legal' violence and taxation within a given area. Really, government is a parasite. At the very best it is like what Jefferson said 'a necessary evil.' In most cases though it's just an evil.

  • I know technically a family is a corporation too. I just think this form of government was the best one much better then the current one by far. It didn't allow for involuntary taxation. That would be a godsend if we could ever do that.

  • Yeah, I certainly agree with you.

  • I am not saying that some form of monopolistic corporation (goverment) to run somethings, like justice, army or even police and education, is not needed or desirable. But even if you consider a monopolistic corporation desirable in some areas, its still a corporation.

And I agree that right now is in total control, and that its not desirable at all.

  • great video I agree enough is enough.

  • Enjoyed the video!

  • there is hope yet.

  • the federal government is trampling on the states' liberty. we need to secede now.

  • "Educate and inform the whole mass of the people... They are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our liberty."

    —Thomas Jefferson

  • right on ,illegal wars an mandates.

  • the federal system CANNOT be reformed! our only hope is a complete separation from the district of corruption!

  • The constitution has been "amended" far too many times to be returned to what it used to represent. Every Amendment after the 13th minus womens and Black folks suffrage have allowed the government to totally destroy the sovereignty of the states. America was finished off in 1868 and fully converted into a centralized empire. To get back to what we had at this point would require a totally new constitution. Thus the need for secession.

  • RSA

this was a great vid and I will check out that article.

Yeah I agree, the federal government is basically 'worthless'

Forget about 'leaving' the Federal Government...Lets DESTROY the feds!

  • Also, and this is not the forum, forgive me, but as a devout Christian, I do believe the central powers are leading towards the advancement of the anti-christ in the future, whether he/she is from the US or not. The world will come to be "one" and we are starting that now.

  • I wish that today, in our time, people could have a fresh view on (1) what the original constitution said and intended, (2) why and when it has each time changed, (3) how to wake up (I am NOT advocating violence or rebellion, for it would not work today as it did in 1860 for our ancestors), (3) why is no one asking questions, and (4) why is a person a radical for looking at these things? War or violence against the US today is wrong, IMO. But we should ask questions and not forget freedom.

  • I put two 3's!!!!!

  • Y'all take care... Deo Vindice

  • I agree, I am gloomy about the prospects of reform at the Federal Level. I think it will be easier to get a proper constitutional, nationalist, conservative movement at a state level. If we can get power in a couple states we could form a nation on the principles of the American Founders. However, we should continue to fight at the Federal Level. I am not ready to give up on the United States quite yet.
