I learned my lesson from FF13! The only character I like was Sazh and I guess he won't be in it. However overall I thought 13 was bad. It was so linear and the summons all sucked, with the exception of Alexander (thought I HATE Hope) and Brynhilder. There wasn't a single thing memorable about the game except that it was bad. FF10 was the last good and possibly best Final Fantasy game made and sadly probably will be.

I really wish the Skyrim talk would stay out of this, because RPGs like Skyrim (RPGs... Americanized I guess? lol) and RPGs such as Final Fantasy/Kingdom Hearts/Lost Odyssey (JRPGs) are similar, but also different and can't be compared. At the end of the day, it just comes down to what you prefer. I prefer JRPGs honestly for story and find the gameplay A LOT more fun and exciting than the battle controls in games such as Skyrim or Elder Scrolls IV. Jus my opinion. New FF Game looks good also.
