@BeAstgangster Um...just to let you know...Taiwan drama version was made in 2001, season 2 in 2002. Japanese drama version was made in 2005, season 2 in 2007.

SOO...I would say the Taiwan drama version would be the "original" for drama series adaptation of the manga.

Although I loved Hana Yori Dango, I love this Mainland twist as well. I watched this drama with low expectations, and ended up loving it.

I have yet to seen Boys Over Flowers, but I didn't hear very good reviews about it, although it was quite popular.

3rd Korean version (Boys Over Flowers), the only thing keep me going through this is watching Soulmate couple. The main character storyline is too boring, Soulmate couple story is much more interesting. I think in Korean version, the main character should be Kim Bum and Kim So Eun. They are so cute!!!

4th China version (Meteor Shower) is really a pain. Too much adding new stuff that it's not worthy. Really unrealistic. Poor acting, I really can't get their feeling.

Had finished watching this a long time ago.

So..at last MY OPINION on all version:

1st Taiwan ver. (Meteor Garden) have the best story which is more realistic. Made me cry a lot & have butterflies in my stomach. The MAIN character is strong.

2nd Japanese ver. (Hana Yori Dango) is the original version from the comic. No comment here (but still Taiwan ver. is more interesting )

yeah, people give this a try. It has it's own twsit. At first I did think "OMG another one! No way." I didn't even give it a chance, ahaha but somehow something triggered and I watched it, I'd say it was actually pretty good, just that some things weren't as satisfying like the korean version too. :p SO shut it and watch it first before you complain! :)

wow. this sucks, im my opinion, when korea made a remake of taiwans version, They changed the setting, the place, etc. they added some scenes, and didnt copy THE EXACT same thing. well, for this chinese version, they did everything, to the point when the f4 faces are zoomed and stuff, To the uniform and such, but the uniform here is cheap. so, korean f4 is better, and CAST ARE BETTER LOOKING.
