origin of santa

santa used to be a burgler which explains why he use a burgler sack to carry presents. then he slipped on slushy which led to the children finding him and giving him cookies, after their kindness to him he decides to change his ways.

he gives presents to kids now because of how nice they were to him then (its his way of paying them back) and u leave cookies for him because it reminds him of how he changed
