  • well this stops prison rape cos they were too busy to rehearse

  • Only in the Philippines.

  • Female prisoners?

  • love the song dance but ATHEISTS LOL

  • Ya aye selalu pengen ikut Die..always lho...

  • Asians and their great inventions ^^

    LOVE YOU ASIANS!!!!

  • Finishing that last comment... "whether they regret their mistakes or not, they are still human beings and capable of doing something beautiful, and let's face it, really cool."

  • Whether or not you support prisons etc etc, this video is a prime example of the power of music. These men/women could be like the typical prisoners, fighting killing and trying to rape whoever drops the soap, but instead they are channeling their energy into something positive. I can't imagine a world without music and dance, and I hope you all realize that while this video may be funny or pathetic, that it's actually teaching us a lesson. That no matter the mistakes people have made, whether

  • @Stouter012

I loved what you said about you cannot imagine a world without music and dance!!! I see it the same way,and I think this video beautiful (also the symbolizm of it)

  • O.O

  • I bet they will follow him, so they can kill him, rape him, steal from him or sell him drugs. PRISON!

  • life in this prison must be one big musical!

  • happy new year..good job..

  • I love you CPDRC Inmates!!! I am so sorry we have failed you as the cop says below. ((((hugs)))) to you all.

  • Absolutley beautiful.

    bless you all.

Bless you all also that don't get it. You have an amazing challenge in front of you.

  • SIR DO YOU HAVE C RIGHTHT ?

  • OH WELL! this is great. this how come all gays dance so well. at least i got the answer.

  • prima!

  • I liked it, I hope they enjoyed it, I am a cop, and the reason they are mostly there is because society failed them when they were young. End of.

  • @xcxdavexcx I like it too. God bless the warden who got the idea to have the prisoners do positive things like dancing, while paying for thier crime. I agree with you, the society failed these people whom God created good.

  • @TheSisteractop

oh please stop the god bullshit. if your god created ruthless serial killers then how is he a good god?

  • @bcoolnotfool God creates men, man decides to be good or bad.

  • @Enigmathika

flawed logic. god doesnt create man. our parents create us. i dont have to believe in god to be good though. thats called being an hypocrite to everyone else only to comfort yourself into thinking that you are playing it safe. i use my conscience to be good to others and i feel a hundred times better eventhough i know there is no skydaddy waiting for me after death. its what you leave behind that matters and what people think of you after you are gone. that is the heaven i believe

  • @bcoolnotfool it was you who said, that god creates ruthless killers and my anwer related on that. I know, that I won't go to heaven and I won't go to hell. I will be dead forever and I will do my very best to leave a mark on this earth, so that friends and relatives will keep good memories of mine. (sorry, if I use strange words, my English is not the best)

I wish you a Happy New Year full of love, friendship and adventures

  • @Enigmathika

what i meant on my comment about god is that he cant be real. maybe you didnt understand it right

happy new year to you, too, and i wish you the best

  • whateva your points are..these prisoners are like fucling soildiers :)

  • wowwwww.... very good. Merry Christmas.

  • prison comps, OH ITS ONNNN!

  • This is what I love about the Philippines! <3

  • Where is this ??

  • Is that all for friends

  • A very great idea!! They deserve a second chance, everyone does!! and serving their time there to repent. God bless you all :)

  • @Crunchyroll11 Nice said!

  • this is a good way to have a safe and healthy prision and fingers crossed will stop these people from commiting crimes again

  • if this is how much fun they have in prison.........=)

  • i understand why they do this. It's a good way to keep them busy and not to have them go crazy, but eventually they're there for a reason... so I'm not sure i totally agree with this. When you're guilty of a crime you shouldn't have it easy in prison.... but then again not everyone is guilty of the same crime and there are degrees...

  • @ceyaro They're all dressed in a uniform and have to stick to a routine that they have no say in and have a tiny exercise yard and aren't allowed to so much as play a guitar, and you think being allowed to dance makes it EASY in prison? I visit the local prison and I've been in a psych ward and I can tell you that being allowed to dance is a sorry consolation for losing your freedom and having your life dictated by random strangers (who usually despise you).

  • @barefootcapegirl They all did stuff to deserve to be there, and you can't base your view on all prison's world wide on your local one, for example in many western prisons high security inmates get private rooms and even game consoles, some are even pampered to the point where they deliberately get caught for the crimes they commit because life for them is actually even better in prison, my point? quieten up and enjoy the vid

  • @TomathyMyatt You have totally missed my point. I am objecting to you "not totally agreeing" with prisoners being allowed simply to DANCE on the grounds that it makes the prison too "easy". Do you honestly think you will rehabilitate people rather than drive them totally (and criminally) insane by making their existence as horrible as possible?

  • @barefootcapegirl Well prison isn't supposed to be easy. If you do the crime you do the time (there are exceptions ofcourse if you're wronly accused but that's a very small minority), Prison is supposed to be a punishment and your freedom is the price of that.

  • @ceyaro You have totally missed my point. I am not objecting to the State taking the freedom of some people, but rather the utterly cruel and stupid idea that you have to forbid prisoners from doing anything that might be even remotely healthy and enjoyable (like dancing) to stop them from coming back. In fact that only makes prisoners mentally unstable and even more resentful of the State and its laws. Losing one's freedom is enough to cope with without such cruelty.

  • Who r they?

  • these women and men dont seem to have a criminal nature, they seem humble!

  • Comment removed

  • @omauree With such jails, you can ! I can't say this is same ambiance in our french jails :')

  • I love how they have found diffrent ways to help instead of just sit back and watch more killing and more violent behavoir in prison. but unfortuanlty i don't ever see this working in th US, our prisinors are just not that happy i guess.

  • I´m brazilian... And I can say surely that work is very, very amazing! I believe all people has a chance of change... Everybody wrongs at least in their life, who did never mistake itself? So, congratulations for this work, for this skill of human´s preservation. We have to give a chance for these people and this one needs of all us.

  • LINDOO DEMAIS

  • Women and men are mixed in this prison?

  • Jesus taught me to love my enemies. He taught me to love people around me the way I want to be loved. I loved my relationship with God so much that I was actually taken to a psyche ward for delusional behavior. There, I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder and now I'm on treatment for it. It's been a year since I've been to the psyche ward. Some speculate that I was in over my head with Jesus. It was a weird experience for me because I never felt so in touch with reality. Yup... I still believe.

  • @trakomako Ow thats a real simple minded conclusion. There is no God, you say; well my friend, i can only say. dont be so ignorant. It affects your credibility.

  • I thought those orange clothes were part of the costume & act!

  • @artifexmediawa i know me too!!! i didnt know these were inmates until i read the comments! lol haha

  • @trakomako Well, trakomako there is a Jesus and he was documented for you to see. Just ask Jesus to come in to your heart.. Just try him he'll give you all the answers to life toughest questions...Like why there is all this turmoil on this earth or why is it the sky is blue. Just ask him those questions he will answer.. Religion is the evil (because of the ritualistic things that it does), not a true free flowing relationship with Jesus. Just try him out.

  • @ericspowers Don't "try " Jesus, you either accept him or you don't- there isn't a '30-days money back guarantee trial". If you are all in, then so will Jesus be too. :)

  • That was awesome!

Words cannot fully describe the magnitude of what is accomplished here!

  • Proud to be from same countrey as them Philippines :D they have make many videos like that..

  • uh oh I didn't see the second part of it! I guess it's not touching!!! :(

  • It's very touching.

  • Why is the lead nun like 7'2"

  • Jah is literally everywhere....for the end of the end of the world is near and the beginning of Yashua's kingdom will begin!!

  • One of the most powerfull things I have ever seen.

  • SEM COMENTARIOSS....MTO BOMMMM...DEUS ABENÇOE A TDS.

  • I have heard and read the stats regarding these mass, prison spectaculars and how for the months they are being rehearsed (using the mass 'Thriller' dane spectacular as the example), violence btw inmates fell 80%, drug use was curtailed and in general, a more friendly, rehabilitation occurred, which, is what prison is supposed to be all about, rehabilitation. I am sure the same was true here and for all the 'flash mob' dances, rehearsed or not. Bravo and may occur more often with such results.

  • Is a Workshop in the jail

  • Very well

  • This is so true

  • when we are doing good art and unite with friends then we are really free, because our soul is exactly where it should be,remember that we can be prisoner even out of the jails,so good work, art and friendship is freedom for everyone,,thanx a lot for what you are doing there, you are helping people who lives outside jail.love to you all

  • where is it?

  • @princefox001 philippines

  • It really surprises me that over 300 people don't think it is a nice performance. I think it touches my heart so much cuz I just imagine how a prisoner's life is like. Some of them may be not nice people but they still can change their mind. They can change their life. The truth is..... they are awesome. I love you friends.

  • its very touching to watch tis prisoners perform....l think no part in the world, they do tis behind prison walls...its really good.....

  • That was very awesome to watch!

  • enfin desBONNES ACTIONS!!!!!!!MAGNIFIQUES

  • Love it :-)

  • To those complaining: As an agnostic, 1: the Filipino people are largely Catholic (those who aren't busying themselves with blowing up their fellows in villages for not being Muslims). And 2: a little inspiration, and a feeling that a higher power loves you and will forgive your transgressions, is Exactly what people in prison could use a little of.

  • why would you dislike this

  • bizarre.

  • I'd say their dancing was killer, but that's probably how most of them are in this condition! Haha

  • Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center, also known by its initials CPDRC, is a maximum security prison in Cebu, in Cebu Province, Philippines.

  • I wonder about this. I understand its beautyfull, rare, and inspiring but these people are prisoners. Under what conditions are they being told to do this? Is it volunteer? Is it forced? They most likely generated money for the prison which can turn these prisoners into slaves. Over time something like that can cascade into something very dangerous.

  • double WOW. Very moving

  • WOW

  • It is a prison:

"Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center, also known by its initials CPDRC, is a maximum security prison in Cebu, in Cebu Province, Philippines."

    - Wikipedia

The head of the prison, Byron F. Garcia, has his own website that you can find on google if you want to read more about it.

  • @KarghaThamior : Thank You for the answer . Its intristing what they do there ^^ . I think that was school uniform

  • I think that was a school or gym . But i dont think it is a prison.

  • Thank you.

  • What means CPDRC? It looks like a prison, ... ??

  • fantastic super!!!

  • Fantastic !

  • GOSH!! pls put me into that jail...
