Just when you think you've found all the old Sesame Street classics on youtube, another one pops up! I'm a 32 year old guy who had friends over about 3 years ago, and we were looking up random videos on YouTube...happened to find an old Sesame Street clip (number pinball) and I've been hooked since...it make's no sense but it's so fun! LOL Brings back the memories...I haven't seen this in probably 25 years.

@jdgood83 It was a beef stock. My mom was cooking while the video was being made and they asked her if they could film me eating. She didn't have anything ready but the beef stock so they asked if I would eat the soup so I did.

But I've been singing it to myself for the past 25 years and I never thought I'd see it. I love the closeness of the parents and the two brothers, and the Spanish. I love this one...Mom is sporting a wicked awesome she-mullet. This wouldn't fly on today's sesame street, tho...with the lyrics "we have the same father/mother" and the wacky libs trying to obliterate the picture of the mother-father centered family.

I used to LOVE this clip when I was little because the house that this family lived in was a DEAD ringer for mine at the time. We had a Navajo upholstered couch that looked just like the couch here & the living room & hallway even looked similar. Now, if the parents had been driving a blue 1977 Chevrolet Nova Concours 4-door sedan like my mother had back then, I really would have been in heaven.
i love the part where the boy totally rams his dad head first, wrestle showdown! my dad does that with my nephew, my nephew will ram him head first, and, much like this boy, loses the fight to the ultimate attack of tickles

I have been searching for this video for 10 years. I have even called and written emails and letters to stations, and sesame street to try and find this. When I was a kid I watched this on a VHS tape my mom had of random Sesame street episodes, and when i was older the tape broke and I was crushed. As a kid i had a big crush on the kid that played the older boy. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR PUTTING THIS ON YOU TUBE!!! :)

This song got a rewrite in the late 90's. The newer version is entirely in English and I think features four different families.
