like the vid i trap 500+ rats a year does your water freeze there i only trap when ice is able to walk on i get every rat out of there huts when they are prime 6 to 7 bucks a peice january -april keep trapin
$8 for muskrat up here in alaska. talked to a taxidermist yesterday at the fur rondy that said he could get 80 to 100 for beaver pelts not tanned. fox still isn't much he said he would give me 65 for one of my cross foxes
In ohio in 1980-81 i got as high as $ 8.00 a piece for jumbo large prime river rats. $45.00 jumbo coon. $ 75.00 red fox $ 60.00 grey fox. and even $ 10.00 out of giant oppussum how ever you spell it lol! But those was the days. i bought my first car with trapping money.. It would take you forever to do that now days!
Just outside Jasper is the Hoosier National Forest with 200,000 acres of fantastic hunting opportunities. Patoka Reservoir is just 10 miles away and is great fishing and deer hunting. There is plenty of public land to hunt and incredible deer hunting right around your new home in Indiana.

This was filmed about 70 miles east of Jasper. It is a state property and the trapper had to compete for the trapping rights in the wetland.
