You gotta wonder what people are thinking sometimes... Some animals, like dogs and cats like being "petted" and handled, but I think most other animals (especially reptiles and such) only tolerate it at best.

I wish I'd live in America... Over here we don't even have snakes... I've only seen snakes in zoo's (not in my island tho, we don't have zoo's either...) and other shows

Sounds like you are on a rather small island. That's actually a cool thing since you can enjoy the "small place" living and then travel around to see the other things you want. That makes them more special. Besides the Americas, Austrailia and many places in Asia are also great for snakes, but many are poisonous and most people would rather not have to live around them! :-)
