I would put Jacob Hansen from Anubis Gate in list of the best prog metal vocals. And singers from bands like:Seventh Wonder,Leprous,Mind's Eye,Threshold(Ma c,not Damian),Cloudscape,Zero Hour and others.
If you don't have that stuff you can easy download, like i do:))))
@arpegiosamistikus: I'm planning to include Henrik Fevre in the next installment. I don't have any Seventh Wonder (though Tommy is a singer people clamor for), don't really like Threshold, and one of the Zero Hour singers is here and the second is coming in part II. I no longer download music from the Web, because I know within myself it was wrong; in fact, I work against it nowadays, which wouldn't have been possible if I didn't learn how to find music. It was an authentic blessing in disguise.
@quadrupleplay Thank you for reply.I agree with you that downloading is a bad thing but many of us who like metal music can't afford to buy original albums.Without internet,i probably never would even heard about most of the bands.
@666Extremist: I'm not intending to promote the big names, though I did seriously consider LaBrie anyway. Though I'm still planning Gildenlow in the next installment...
@TopHatDrumming: Simple, I don't have anything by him. I'm intending to include Gildenlow, Kuntz, Rosvold and some others in the next installment, but I don't have enough stuff to do that yet.
@MultiAynali: Where are my Pain of Salvation CDs? I would definitely include him in another installment when I pick one up (Remedy Lane, likely), because I have enough albums to try another one.
@GanjawarsLostPro: Andy Kuntz is awesome, I just don't have any Vanden Plas yet. The Seraphic Clockwork is easily in my top 5 CDs I wish I could have now, though.
@Sphereal: Many people know about Russell and hold him to be one of the best singers in the world, and the intention of this is somewhat to promote less-known singers; even Ray Alder is less-known as a member of Redemption. I have no Symphony X anyway.
@xTOMMYGRx: I believe that Ray Alder's current projects are definitely essential for prog fans, but Redemption is just not that big (unfortunately). The new Alder is a much different personality IMO and isn't even in the same category of voice. Look at the singers for Amaseffer and Power of Omens where I have them included under, then put them in other projects and you might see what I'm driving at. All a matter of opinion, though.
@DeathToNewbie: Ross Jennings is an easy frontrunner in the 2010 competition. Zaher Zorgati of Myrath was the one I had to leave out of this (sorry if you're reading this, guys...); Juan Manuel Güiza and Douglas Skene are the other entries.
Since you're Indonesian, don't miss later Kekal...I could have included Jeff in this, but even when the music is prog (as on the heavy parts of The Habit of Fire), it just wouldn't quite fit here as much as the other guys - he's an avantgarde metal singer.

Andy Kuntz is THE God, Tommy Karevik (Seventh Wonder) is second, and Mike Baker is my #3

You were wrong. Avant-garde metal is the most flexible genre. Btw, great compilation!

Russell allen pwns them all

@Sphereal: Russell Allen is great but quite common, and I really don't like Symphony X anyway.

@quadrupleplay I don´t know what you mean with common...I have yet to hear a singer that is as good as he is.

Awesome list man, but i don't understand you a bit regarding Alder.
He is one of the most essential singers in prog metal history, along with Tate.
So i don't think there is a prog metal fan who doesn't know his carreer so far.
Anyway, you could put Tecchio (Watchtower) or Lackey (Psychotic Waltz) or MIDNIGHT (Crimson Glory) also since you put Alder.
As for Allen, yes he has the most powerful voice i have heard, but you can't exaclty put him in Prog metal.

@quadrupleplay I'm aware of Kekal existence and kind of like their album from 2007, alas, avant-garde is not my thing.
