hey I really like watching your videos - however the thing about the moon making its own light - I thought that the Quran said the moon DID reflect the sun - as it says so in surah shams saying (by the moon that reflects it) - it meaning the sun. but it was only in the 16th century that Leonardo da Vinci explained the phenomenon of earthshine :/ please respond! thanks x

@Alshahadah The verse from Sura al-Shams (91) does NOT say "and the moon that reflects it". It says: "and the moon as it follows it" the verb تَلا means to follow. All the classical tafseers confirm this. For example al-Tabari says: وقوله: { وَالْقَمَرِ إذَا تَلاها } يقول تعالى ذكره: والقمر إذا تَبِع الشمس
"His saying: {and the moon as it follows it} He- may his mention be exulted- is saying and the moon as it follows the sun."

The remarkable thing about this challenge, other than the fact it still stands, is that the smallest chapter of the Quran is a mere three verses long. The assertion that there can be no objective way to test it was thrown out of the proverbial window with the discovery of the underlying encryption in the form of the patterns under discussion now for a good part of the last four decades..
Another case of confirmation bias, we have seen hundreds of videos and articles on the subject of Quran's uniqueness and Quran's challenge to reproduce it, including this one. In fact Quran is not asking anyone to produce the whole Quran but a single chapter, it does not restrict this reproduction to Arabic alone and it does not put a time constraint on the challenge and neither does it restrict this task to one single individual working alone.

@Alshahadah The verse from Sura al-Shams (91) does NOT say "and the moon that reflects it". It says: "and the moon as it follows it" the verb تَلا means to follow. All the classical tafseers confirm this. For example al-Tabari says: وقوله: { وَالْقَمَرِ إذَا تَلاها } يقول تعالى ذكره: والقمر إذا تَبِع الشمس
"His saying: {and the moon as it follows it} He- may his mention be exulted- is saying and the moon as it follows the sun."

If this is true, then the Koran turns out to be the absolute worst possible way for any intelligent and competent being to communicate with mankind. The remarkable thing about this challenge, other than the fact it still stands, is that the smallest chapter of the Quran is a mere three verses long. The assertion that there can be no objective way to test it was thrown out of the proverbial window with the discovery of the underlying encryption in the form of the patterns under discussion now for a good part of the last four decades..

Another case of confirmation bias, we have seen hundreds of videos and articles on the subject of Quran's uniqueness and Quran's challenge to reproduce it, including this one. In fact Quran is not asking anyone to produce the whole Quran but a single chapter, it does not restrict this reproduction to Arabic alone and it does not put a time constraint on the challenge and neither does it restrict this task to one single individual working alone.
