In India 60% of people encourage corruption and live on false accusations and black mails. Our investigating agencies have 99% of false complaints. Thousands of innocent officers are there in their books spending time attending enquiries. . Trust me I can prove. How does this bill prevent a man voting twice, rig the elections? So this is 'not yet' a people's bill. There should be strong letter on false accusators in the bill

The problem with Jan Lok Pal is that it’ll make the problem worse. Does anyone seriously think we can hire tens of thousands of absolutely honest officials who will constitute the Lok Pal? Who will keep watch on them? Maybe we need a Super Lok Pal, and then a Hyper Lok Pal to watch over the Super Lok Pal and so on…This isn’t sarcasm, this is the logical extension of the Lok Pal argument.

@ThePP205 In a Democracy, elections need not be the only organ of the people. They happen once in four years to only nominate a person to act as a microphone for a certain area aka constituency. But all went wrong when the microphone started making its own noise. We the people who aren't standing for election, still have a voice. We can shout out with that voice and increase its intensity by joining with similar minded people. This is exactly what kejriwal and others are trying to accomplish.

Govt wants control over the selection, operation and removal of members of the Lokpal committee. Not m=something the Civil Society Reps want(Obviously). So if the Govt's version stays, your fears become true. If not, then you can rest easy.

@kuriensandeep Please notice the section of the video where he discusses the removal of the Lokpal. He says the civil society representatives recommend that any citizen can file a case on the Lokpal and this case can be processed under the normal prosecution procedure followed in the judiciary against people accused in corruption. Once a lokpal member is removed, selection will again take place for that position.

The problem with Jan Lok Pal is that it’ll make the problem worse. Does anyone seriously think we can hire tens of thousands of absolutely honest officials who will constitute the Lok Pal? Who will keep watch on them? Maybe we need a Super Lok Pal, and then a Hyper Lok Pal to watch over the Super Lok Pal and so on…This isn’t sarcasm, this is the logical extension of the Lok Pal argument.

@ThePP205 In a Democracy, elections need not be the only organ of the people. They happen once in four years to only nominate a person to act as a microphone for a certain area aka constituency. But all went wrong when the microphone started making its own noise. We the people who aren't standing for election, still have a voice. We can shout out with that voice and increase its intensity by joining with similar minded people. This is exactly what kejriwal and others are trying to accomplish.

Govt wants control over the selection, operation and removal of members of the Lokpal committee. Not m=something the Civil Society Reps want(Obviously). So if the Govt's version stays, your fears become true. If not, then you can rest easy.

@kuriensandeep Please notice the section of the video where he discusses the removal of the Lokpal. He says the civil society representatives recommend that any citizen can file a case on the Lokpal and this case can be processed under the normal prosecution procedure followed in the judiciary against people accused in corruption. Once a lokpal member is removed, selection will again take place for that position.
