Only problem is they don't put photos of murder victims' faces on the front pages of newspapers or on any pages for that matter. (I mean they don't put photos of them that were taken by police after they were deceased & at the point when their body was found).

I can only see one thing wrong with this:

Batman carrying the wrapped-up girl.

Batman knows that whenever he's dealing with the Joker, he should "expect the unexpected" (as he has said in various installments). That's why it doesn't seem proper to have Bats carrying something that could be just a body... when it could be booby-trapped or bomb-packed under wraps.

Ooh that was a creepy ending, it's more disturbing I think when we see them smiling as it's so out of context. The Joker is a fascinating character, I can't deny being a superhero nerd (make that paranormal nerd as I love magic and ghosts and dragons as well).

Jack Nicholson joker had its merits, extremely funny while psychotic. IF there is someone that can make black humor work is Nicholson.

But if the new joker is gonna have a different origin i guess it makes sense to change the focus.

The one am more worried is catwoman in the 3 part.

If they go that direction. I am not sure how this director will play with the series but so far its been pretty good. I had my doubts but Batman Begins was great. They kept him with his tech tools but also gave him that martial arts feel along. I was very happy they brought in Lucious Fox. That spoke strides for me because he is one of the key shadow characters in Batman. The new Joker looks creepy, so we'll see how it goes.

I wrote the script that this is drawn from. Originally, the girl was a costumed victim of the Mad Hatter in a completely different storyline, not The Joker. The smiling girl is from a reshoot Aaron did for BATMAN: LEGENDS.
