This is misleading in that all black people do not suffer the ravages of the capitalist system; the divide and conquer strategy has produced minorities and political identity groups that benefit from the system. When the focus is taken away from issues of class, the division has already begun. Protest against clubbing baby seals is certainly not working class or poor people (regardless of color). Further, the discrimination of people of color is due to their lack of wealth, not race or ethnicity. This is not say racism doesn't exist or is people of color aren't taken the brunt of wealth inequity. It does and they do, but only to serve capital, not the white man. Read your Fanon and Friere
